We met with around seven different estate agents when deciding who should sell our house, as we really wanted to make sure we chose the right person. A lot of the agents we spoke to felt quite corporate. They didn’t spend much time really looking at the property and were quick to jump straight into pricing, fees, and showing us brochures of other houses they had sold in the area. Emma was completely different. She was down to earth, personable, and just felt much more on our level. She took the time to properly look around the house and seemed genuinely interested in both us and the property rather than just trying to win the instruction. Our house sold in just 10 days with multiple offers, and Emma handled everything brilliantly. She also helped us with negotiations on our onward purchase, which went above and beyond what we expected from a selling agent. Throughout the process she gave honest advice and was great to deal with. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is professional but also very approachable and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for you, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma.

We'd seen a few Estate Agents that day, but as soon as Emma walked through the door we just knew she was the one. Emma is Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, prompt with returning calls and messages within minutes, she often went out her remit to do the usual chases further up and down the chain too. She makes the whole house selling/buying process so much easier for her clients, she's not phased by anything an she remained calm during the stormy bits. Cannot recommend Emma and her staff highly enough. After using a previous agent to sell our home, we were left extremely disappointed with the level of communication. We relisted with Emma who went above and beyond along with Ellie. Totally personal service and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were kept informed at all times and even after the property had sold, Emma offered support and guidance with the conveyancers until the point of exchange. Always called us back when she said she would. I would not hesitate to advise family and friends to use Emma if they were buying or selling. Emma was fabulous throughout the whole process. From the initial visit she reassured us she would look after us and our property. She was progressive in her marketing strategy and found us viewers fairly soon. Once we had an offer, she was a fair, but positive advocate for us and when there were issues, acted professionally at all times, despite difficult behaviour from some quarters. We put our house up for sale on Calstock Road in Woodthorpe in August last year. We went with a local agent. The mandatory period expired so we left it until early Spring to go again and that’s when we called Emma. We never looked back. If you want an agent to represent you then Emma has got the lot. She provides a service that is highly professional and incredible value for money. We always felt we were kept informed at every point in the journey. She is tenacious, has a wonderful communication style but above all she is honest. She just manages your expectations, doesn’t over promise and is always realistic about all aspects of the sale. When she first came to build the house profile she was forensic as to how the brochure should look ie numbers of photos, what to leave out, the wording etc. she even came back at a later stage and retook some photos to get better lighting. She got us ++++ viewings and always said, ‘there’s someone out there who wants your house’. Forever positive. Up to the point of exchange and completion she was chasing solicitors and estate agents. So determined to get it right for us. Always available , always fighting our corner . Her business model is so different from other estate agents. She has a unique style that is both personal and tough when required. I would never recommend anyone else to friends, family or people thinking of moving. In a world where estate agents get plenty of bad press Emma Terry sets the gold standard and is an exemplar for how this type of business should be operated.

Although Emma didn’t act on our behalf sale side she certainly made the purchasing side of our beautiful new property hassle free and enjoyable. I can't rate Emma high enough and if 6 stars were an option I would leave that. Emma kept us calm throughout what turned out to be an extremely drawn out process and appreciated our circumstances offering both professional but also sympathetic advice. Nothing was too much trouble, knowing a lot of people who could assist along the way (removal firms, mortgage brokers). Shes a credit to the industry which sadly in many cases seems built for the past. if you are on the fence between a large company or an independent i would 100% encourage you to take the leap of faith
