Even though my home was already found By LISA. LISA helped me a lot with the entire process after that. GoogleStevens Property Management mistakenly deducted a months rent after the end of my tenancy had been terminated.
I contacted them and was informed I should have cancelled my standing order which I kind of agreed but I left it running as I thought that could possibly be the way my expected deposit would be refunded as that was how my previous rental property refund via a different estate agents was processed.
Stevens apologised and informed me that the full amount will be refunded back into my account over the following couple of working days.
When the refund was processed I discovered it was minus twenty pounds, on inquiring why, I was informed it was an admin fee.
I had not been informed prior that this was procedure and it was not until I had contacted them to complain that I received an email shortly after the end of the telephone conversation, explaining that they are deducting an admin fee.
Despite this being Stevens mistake in not cancelling the rental request and still taking it then being penalised for their mistake, I find this absolutely disgusting.
It is beyond words on how I now feel about the final service, based on this I will never recommend or intend to use Stevens again.
I requested for them to honour the twenty pounds and despite being promised by them to contact me before the end of the working day with a decision, I received nothing.
Totally disheartened, I can not believe the greed and arrogance, disgusting.
It does not take twenty pounds to electronically retrieve and refund money.
Please be mindful of this when intending to use them.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Dear Mr Robson,
I cannot express to you enough my disappointment to be receiving this review. We did respond in writing after your phone call earlier this week to clarify any concerns you may have.
As already discussed, although frustrating that we are unable to cancel your payments for you, due to the fact they are via standing order and not direct debit this is simply not possible, which is why we try to make it as clear as possible that there are associated costs, to our business, for dealing with overpayments, and ask you in advance to cancel the standing order.
We make all tenants aware of this prior to them even signing the tenancy agreement, on the application form, (which is can see you have signed and acknowledged) and also on the tenant move out letter, which again I can see you were sent on the 24th September 2020. I am therefore very sorry that you feel this was not made clear to you.
I appreciate your frustration, however our accountant does have to identify and reconcile all payments in and out of our client account which does have an associated cost.
I am sorry that you feel you would not recommend us in the future, we have always felt like we have maintained a very positive business relationship with you.

So discourteous they need to learn the art of being polite especially one who I was warned about by a tenant who would not recommend her to her worst enemy. Whoever gave them jobs needs their head testing.
In answer to their lying response it was twelve pm and my transport was late n arrival at Louth and I arrived at your office to explain that there were no taxis at the rank and could they please call me a taxi as 02 if you look at the national news was down. The vile response I had from these dreadful women was appalling and reduced me to tears when I left. I had travelled two hours to louth because the transport was running late and their behaviour was appalling. DO NOT LIE YOU ARE UNREAL.

GoogleAn efficient friendly committed local team who visit and walk around our property weekly when we are absent. This meets our needs for peace of mind and our home insurers demands for regular inspection. Our experience when the boiler failed was that they called in an engineer immediately to service and restart it, similarly a glazier to replace a broken front window pane. They record their visits and any findings, address any issues and sign off and communicate those weekly. The range of services is extensive but we choose only what we need which makes them a flexible company to work with. Recommended, reasonable and good value.

GoogleSaw what we thought was a lovely bungalow, 2 bathrooms, 1 being a wet room which was ideal for me being a wheelchair user, my partner rung up and enquired about it and asked if accessible to get in as wet room so we assumed I could, asked about steps and was told there were 1 step on each door but I would be able to get in!!! Drove 200 mile round trip, got to bungalow and step was far too high and another step down inside which we didn’t know about!!! Why oh why do agents always put properties up with awful pictures!!! No full rooms, only half a room!!!! No pictures of steps!!!! Not always measurements of rooms!!!!! Totally waste of a day & money for fuel!!!! Caused us lots of arguments and triggered my stomach issues off which were ok until we saw that!!!!! Totally unprofessional!
