Good experience renting a property

I recently rented the flat I am currently living in through Page & Wells. I haven't rented for a few years as moved out of the home that I owned, and was nervous about the process. They have been extremely professional throughout with excellent communication. Any queries have been dealt with promptly and the whole process has been good. I would definitely recommend using them and Nikki and Karen have been great, in particular.

Have used Page and Wells to market my rental property on several occasions now since 2015. An excellent service with friendly, helpful staff.Also, I am not on a managed service, but the staff in the office have been hugely helpful in assisting me in sorting out any problems, allowing tradesmen to collect keys etc from the office and keeping me updated on any issues. I have found this extremely helpful especially not living close by.I will certainly be in touch again when requiring another tenant for my property.

Renters beware!

After moving in to a property marketed by Page and Wells, it became apparent that we were the first occupants. The carpets were filthy, lampshades dusty, walls grubby, it was a very old dated and tired property ' with potential' to improve. We paid £160 to have the carpets cleaned, £240 for a new vinyl floor, as the one in the bedroom had pretty much disintegrated, replaced several worn curtain tracks, re decorated every room with colours less offensive on the eyes, and never asked for a penny in reimbursement. We looked after the place as best we could and upon leaving were told they would be keeping almost £800 of my deposit, for not getting the place professionally cleaned, even though it wasn't done for us upon moving in, replacing a kitchen door, because of cracks in one of the glass panes, caused by the wind slamming the door which only happened because the catch never worked, complete replacement of the door handles because due to age and wear, one had come off and the other one was worn. An overgrown garden was the only thing I had some agreement with, however £800!Getting the amount deducted to under £400 shows the landlords were trying it on. Not a word of thanks for the interior work we did, and the money we spent for future tenants to benefit.I've nothing but resentment for this lot, and their morally bankrupt landlords.

Thank you to all the staff at Page & Wells, Bearsted. From the first viewing with Ian Walker where we fell in love with our now successfully purchased property, to the numerous communication between us and the vendor which was skilfully managed by the constant diligence and approachable manner of Adam Aelen we can’t overstate the personal touch everyone made to our experience. Adam in particular went above and beyond to trying to accommodate us and the vendor’s requests and I would not hesitate in recommending both him and the company to anyone purchasing a property. It’s so refreshing to be able to work with a company that really pulls out all the stops to make things happen. The staff really are a credit to this business and the impression left is nothing but a good one.

I've lived in Maidstone for 60+ years, and I have never seen such gross disregard for their customers. They are underhanded callous uncaring self centered and manipulative. With page and wells it's all about the money AT ALL COSTS. Their behavior is appauling. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM IN A MILLION YEARS. the way you have treated my friend is highly unacceptable and you would not get away with such dishonest behaviour - YOU OUghT TO BE EXPOSED. I HAVE SEEN THE NASTY EMAILS JAMES PAYLIN AND DUNCAN WILLS WROTE TO HER AFTER OUTRIGHTLY LYING TO HER AND HIDING MATERIAL INFORMATION THAT COULD AFFECT THEIR DECISION TO THE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CLIENT. Great team to do business with

As Landlord's,we have been customers of Page & Wells [P&W] for the past 7-years. Overall a superb team to work with in regards to rentals. Over the years we have had a natural turnover of customers [tenants] and each time P&W has found us excellent tenants. The Rental team are on their game and it's been great doing business with them, namely overall good communication, clear on the rental process, matching our requirements in seeking out our ideal customer. Extremely professional and when we have had a customer give notice, our contact at P&W stepped up to find us a new customer. We also noticed that having such a good relationship with the Rental team, our customers have been with us for a lot longer. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys - they are great.
