GoogleDavid Burr acted for our sellers. Lulu showed us the house, she was friendly, absolutely knowledgeable and put us out ease immediately. Once the sale was agreed, Henry was the driving force of our chain, consistently pushing difficult solicitors for progress and keeping everyone updated. Without him, at best our moving date would be considerably further down the line. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending David Burr to anyone looking to move.

GoogleDreadful lack of care or concern, just flippant manner from 'Rachel' Director of lettings when one of her tenants is causing so much distress to two neighbours. Vicious Dachshund that is only at residence as tenants mother had two and this one kept attacking the other one. Now it is running across main road to attack dog walkers animals with owner nowhere to be seen. Also partner of tenant is an undesirable with awful past all over the internet and not on tenancy agreement....I wonder why. Then there were the 30 plus rats tenant was feeding as 'pets' around garden shed causing mayhem to neighbouring properties until Council officer issued them with threat of court action unless they took action to destroy colony. Garden is a shameful mess. What I am really getting to also is 'What checks do you actually do Rachel' ? Why is the tenants partner not checked ? The police are now involved. If this was where you lived Rachel would you care then and try and get the landlord to act. YOU APPROVED THEM AT THE END OF THE DAY

As we have explained to you, we do not manage the property and first introduced the tenants to this property about five years ago so have not had recent dealings with these tenants. In any event, we have passed on your concerns to the landlord we have also provided you with further advice on how to manage the situation going forward. We hope that the situation resolves itself in due course.

GoogleNormally I don’t review estate agents, however my wife and I just want to say what a professional, knowledgeable, courteous person Henry Perrins at David Burr Long Melford is. Literally miles ahead of any other estate agents we used over the last couple of weeks to find our dream home. Seemed to know the best pubs, knowledgeable on the history and architecture of each of the properties we visited, but not at all pushy. Many thanks for all your help!

GoogleDishonest - do not use these people. They moved tenants into my property without my signature or approval so I effectively had squatters. They also gave them a three year contract which had not been discussed. The tenants immediately moved another family member in. When the tenants left the property in a shocking state I asked for the deposit back but Rachel withheld some of it and now doesn't answer my emails. Absolutely disgraceful. They used to be a good estate agent but now they're just crooks. Did not give them the keys to your house or you might also end up with squatters.

GoogleRecently had the most prolonged and stressful house sale and if it wasn’t for David Burr Estate Agents Long Melford, and especially Camilla, I think the stress and worry would’ve been too much. David Burr we’re not our agents but the way Camilla conducted herself in her role to actually team up with me and push for updates and eventually completion was unrivalled, to conclude, she went that extra mile in her position that showed commitment, dedication and empathy for the worry and stress we were all going through I cannot outline enough how amazing David Burr were, 5 stars doesn’t do Camilla justice, she not only sold a property through the shop but she also assisted the completion on the chain

GoogleMoving home can be very stressful , however after price agreement, the way David Burr managed communication and handled our queries was prompt and professional. They kept us up to date on developments and advised us appropriately when necessary. Even though our purchase in theory should have been straight forward, there were inevitably a few moments of concern , and David Burr especially Camilla handled extremely efficiently, going the extra mile to fully resolve all our concerns.
