GoogleI never thought this house sale would complete, but after battling every step, it finally happened. I have to say a massive thank you to Natalie Yates, who went above and beyond with support. I would also like to thank the rest of the staff who took many phone calls from me, lol. I highly recommend this company for a property sale, and Natalie as the agent. GoogleWe didn’t know any estate-agents in the area when we came to sell my Mum’s house, but after making contact with Rob Jones at Wallace Jones we knew we had found the right people. Rob explained everything and helped us to find house-clearers and everybody else we needed. When it came to selling the house, he advised us on the asking price (his advice turned out to be absolutely bang-on!). The sales process proved to be rather dragged-out, and throughout it all Natalie kept us updated, advised us sensibly, and managed the process through to a successful conclusion. We can’t speak highly enough of Wallace Jones and would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleMy husband and mother in law came into your branch this morning to get some help with looking for rentals and were immediately pushed towards rightmove. I think the most disappointing thing was that there seems to be no compassion towards peoples situations, for example a pensioner who may not know how to use Rightmove or online apps or may not have people who can help them do this and yet are in desperate situations looking for somewhere to live. what is the point of having an office to have customer facing opportunities but then brushing people off and pushing them to apply online.

The lady who tried to help your mother in law was merely saying if you create an alert on Rightmove it might help by notifying you of new properties. I am so pleased we went with Wallace Jones. Adrian's knowledge of the local area and property market saved us considerable time and stress with our house sale. Adrian and his team never missed an opportunity in finding us a buyer and once the sale was agreed, walked us through the whole process making sure all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed, leading us to a successful sale. GoogleI received a fantastic service from Wallace Jones. A much more personable service than some of the larger estate agents. I spoke to Adrian, at the Long Eaton office, regularly throughout my sale. He was excellent at returning my calls and emails promptly, and updating me regularly. I felt like I always knew what was going on (which has not always been the case with agents I've used on previous house sales). I can highly recommend Wallace Jones and will not hesitate to use them myself if I ever move again in the future.

GoogleOur first time using Wallace Jones to sell our last house in Beeston, when the time comes again we won't be going anywhere else. Adrian was always available for us to speak to, he talked us through everything in detail and his expert opinion proved spot on. We got a great price for our house in the end, and Wallace Jones communication with our buyers was also spot on as they often communicated with us through the process using Wallace Jones as the go between. GoogleI recently sold a property through Wallace Jones. Like everyone I did my research and spoke with all the other estate agents around the area. After speaking with initially with Michael I felt confident that Wallace Jones were the right agent for my Property. All through the sale Michael and Adrian were brilliant. The communication was always excellent and they were always helpful. I was so impressed with their service that I am now in the process of using them again for another property. Thank you to you all.

GoogleReally can't thank Wallace Jones enough. They managed our rental property for many years and were always helpful and efficient when dealing with repairs and tenants. When it was time for us to sell, it was great having them 'in our corner'. From marketing all the way through to completion, we felt informed and advised and we really did have a painless experience, despite being overseas for the whole process. Would highly recommend.

GoogleI popped into this place recently. The grandma and great grandma who work here were very rude and talk to people looking for rentals like they are second class citizens. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Oh and I popped into every estate agent in long Eaton that afternoon. You are by far the worst

GoogleWish I could leave no stars. Initially the agents were excellent, really good and told them so. However once I agreed to let the property and paid the deposit and 'arrangement fee' it went rapidly downhill. Due to issues that appear to be beyond their control, they let myself let a property that was not ready to be let. Despite myself emailing for updates the replies were slow and had to be chased continuously. In the end they admitted that the property should have not have been for let, they wasted 10 weeks of my time and effort, so I asked for my deposit to be returned and I asked and I asked again... eventually they returned it minus the 'arrangement fee'. The 'arranagement fee' was for them arranging for me to let the property from the landlord, this was a property by their own admission, should have not been for let... So I asked for teh 'arrangement fee' back, nothing... so I advised that I would be taking legal action against them To which I received this email, which is quite laughable... Really shocked at your approach. A simple email would have sufficed. We had incurred costs and this app fee is none refundable at stated, However under the circumstances we will refund the amount. Michael anyway guess what, they still didn't refund me. so basically it seems they are a bunch of con artists... so I have lodged a claim with the small claims court, reported them to trading standards for thei extremely poor service and judgement on letting a property that should NOT have been let, regarless of what the landlord may have said, what was the 'arrangement fee' for if they wer arranging for me to have a property that wasn't ready? surely it is part of thir job to check this out and if the landlord has mislead the agents, why on earth did they not do their own investigations? isn't that their job? appalling, also reported to the property ombudsman, they are not fit to run an agency.

GoogleAs a tenant, I generally find my landlord slow to respond and deal with issues. Generally feel I have to nag WJ excessively until I get sometimes urgent issues dealt with. The staff are polite but you have to chase them constantly before the landlord gets anything sorted. Update: Dropped review from 2 to 1 star. After initial help to clear up some issues. Two months later, I have an issue outstanding (electrical) and the landlord won't sort it, and WJ can't/won't do anything. If landlords are allowed to "ignore" problems they don't want to fix, it's a pretty poor performance.

GoogleAbsolutely diabolical. Turned up for a viewing for the agreed time and no show. Rang the office and they're trying to lie to me when I have black and white. Atleast be honest and take accountability and apologise. Take this review as a way to treat people differently.
