Tobi and Gemma were honestly amazing from start to finish when it came to selling my place on Mildenhall Road, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pair to handle everything. They just made the whole process feel so easy and stress-free, which is not something I was expecting at all! They really know their stuff, gave great advice at every stage, and were always on hand to answer questions or keep me in the loop. You could tell they genuinely cared about getting the best result for me, and they absolutely delivered. What I loved most was how down-to-earth and approachable they were while still being super professional and on it the whole time. It never felt like just another sale to them. Awful experience with sales. I found my sales agent unhelpful, vindictive, and overall ineffective. Despite all of the initial promises, shortly after I signed the contract, she suddenly had no faith in her own valuation and confidence that she could sell the property and the communication fell off a cliff. I received no detailed feedback following several viewings until I said I was moving to another agent (at which point she suddenly and immediately responded saying she had been ill however, the communication was poor both before and after this). The one offer received was negotiated by Castles out of pity for my situation (and without seeking a fee) and it was Castles that kept me usefully updated although Winkworth would receive the fee since the buyer approached Winkworth. I regret the time I lost with this agent. Hopefully there wil be some self reflection from this branch rather than disputing everything I say and attempting to discredit me (as I expect from my experience), although having moved on, I won't read their response.

We were recently moving houses under short notice, and we're incredibly lucky to have found a flat that was let via Winkworth. Sharing details and setting up viewings were a breeze, and Matthew from the Hackney office was a gem. He was super kind and professional, gave us every detail we needed, and most importantly, went above and beyond with finalising the flat for us when due to change of circumstances with the landlord - the timelines were uncertain and shifting a few times. Considering the short notice in which we had to move, we were so nervous about this but the one person who was consistently available to speak, helpful in understanding our concerns, gathering more information, reassuring us of all the details and actually getting the agreement and move done was Matthew and we could not be more grateful to him. Winkworth was also excellent in all the moving-in documentation and processes they had set up. Thanks a mil!

I recently purchased a property through the Hackney Winkworth office. Tobi was acting as managing agent for the transaction and he worked extremely hard to make sure it went through smoothly. The whole team at the office were excellent and Tobi was especially good at navigating the issues that came up during the purchase between myself and the vendor of the property. I had to change my mortgage at the last minute and delay the fixed completion date - this wasn't an easy situation as even my solicitor was not happy. But Tobi was able to reassure the vendor and make sure that the transaction didn't break down into litigation letters being sent out by the vendor's solicitor. Overall, I found the team at the Hackney office experienced and more than competent. An important part of the job of an estate agent is to act as point of contact between purchaser and vendor to relay messages that might be problematic if dealt with by solicitors. They also make sure both parties are informed about progress at all times. Both of these responsibilities require good understanding of information and the ability to deliver it to the purchaser or vendor in a way that does not increase stress to either party when transaction progress is stalling. Thank you Tobi and the team for getting things over the line, I know it wasn't an easy one!
