GoogleJosh was our estate agent from the start of our house hunting journey, right through to buying our house. He was exceptionally helpful from the very beginning. One of the great things, was that Josh only focused on showing us properties that fitted what we were looking for and in the area we were looking. He was very quick in getting us viewings at the suitable properties, and helped us find our ideal house! His assistance throughout the buying process was fantastic, helping to keep things moving when information was needed from the sellers, and always on hand to assist where needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble! Would recommend Josh to anyone looking to find their ideal home!

Googlehad dealt with one of the staff in the sales side who seemed pleasurable although did not sell my property as it was taken off market. So, decided to use their Lettings team. This started out well initially till Johnny left and another guy took over. Does not respond to emails or telephone messages until I had to bring this to attention of branch manager. A new Lettings manager took over and was professional and good at her job but again, this changed. Got stuck with another who talks at you and had to remind her about good customer services. With regards managing, didn’t do anything but collect fees. They would try avoid doing basic tasks that other agents do. I have had other agents over the years and only decided using their Lettings whilst property was on the market. My entire dealings with them is something I have not had in 10yrs of dealing with Estate Agents and will definitely not recommend them for letting your property.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Dear Jo, Many thanks for the review. We take matters like this very seriously although I do believe there has been a slight misunderstanding. During the process you asked Winkworth to do things in an unlawful way which Winkworth refused to do as there are certain laws and property acts which mean certain things have to be done correctly and in a lawful way. There are also specific laws when it comes to deposits and how you cannot deduct from a deposit unless the inventory has been done correctly. We did explain this to you but you kept insisting that other agents do things differently for you. Unfortunately these other agents were not looking into your best interests and just because another agent acts or does things in a certain way, this then doesn't mean Winkworth will follow the same procedures as we could be breaking the law and/or not following the property guidelines for agents correctly. As you can see from other reviews we receive we have a high level of service and do our best to keep our clients as happy as possible by making sure their interests come at the forefront of everything we do. Winkworth would like to take this opportunity to thank you for using our services and apologise if there are some things you are still not happy with but I do hope this clears some things up for you. GoogleHad a viewing scheduled with Fin Lamb who didn't even show up. I was waiting in the rain and had travelled over an hour on a Saturday to get there so you can imagine my frustration. When I got through to him he said he had called me in the morning to let me know the property had already been let but I had no missed calls, voicemail or email from him.

I can confirm that a call to your number was attempted. I do however, understand how frustrating it can be to travel somewhere for it to end up being a waste of time and for this I do apologise again for the mix up in communication in this instance.
