Highly professional and knowledgeable

Harriet and her team are highly professional and knowledgable. Being new to London, we were really struggling to find a rental property. Harriet explained the process, gave advise on how to go about finding a place, and ultimately helped us to secure our dream rental within in a very short period of time. Now that we are in the unit, their support and professionalism is extremely good. They have promptly dealt with all our inquiries and maintenance issues, and even one emergency issue. I would highly recommend renting through them.

Extremely fast service

We rent an apartment through Wigmore Jones. The process from calling to moving into the apartment took us one week, which, in my opinion, is a very quick result. A personal thanks to Harriet for being willing to not only do her job but to put in the extra effort: we needed to move urgently and I requested to view the apartment as soon as possible - Wigmore Jones arranged a viewing the same day. In addition, the agency has speeded up the reference check process for us. All this is very valuable.

Oh dear Harriet. I just asked what appliances were in the kitchen of a property you had online. But no, you bombarded me with questions about my income, who my employers were and how long I intend to stay. In answer to your last question it's quite simple; I will not be staying at all. It's like pulling teeth and you need to supply the basics before sending out a C&P response. Plenty of property on the market, so I shall toddle off. Edit to add, such a shame I see that said Harriet is a director of this company. Oh dear.

What a great team!

I’m sat here trying my best to be as critical as possible about the team at Wigmore but the truth is they’re a delight to work with. It’s a smaller family run operation with several Agents, but the attention to detail and the speed that they handle issues is second to none. If you’re thinking of renting with these guys stop your search and jump in. 3 years later and I couldn’t care what house I’m in as long as Harriet and the team are managing it. We have recently rented a flat with the assistance of Wigmore Jones and it couldn’t have been easier. The whole team at Wigmore Jones, in particular David, have been responsive and understanding throughout the whole process. From first seeing the flat online, to securing a viewing and having an offer accepted was less that 24hrs, which was in large part down to the hard work of Wigmore Jones. We rented a flat through them for over a year and had a very disappointing experience. The property was severely overpriced considering the issues we faced, including a moth infestation and mice running around. We never met the landlord in person and had to deal with her remotely, which proved to be extremely difficult. Despite repeatedly informing her that the windows were leaking and needed urgent repairs or replacement, nothing was done. This left us to endure a particularly cold winter without proper insulation. At the end of our tenancy, they withheld our deposit for over a month. They also charged us over £200, claiming we stayed two days past the agreed move-out date, without ever informing us of this charge when we gave notice to terminate the contract. On top of that, the landlord breached GDPR regulations by mishandling our personal information. I understand that renting in London can be challenging, I'm a landlord myself, and I always treat tenants with respect and fairness. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Steer clear of this company if you want to avoid unnecessary stress and unfair treatment.

Finding a flat in London can be a rather challenging endeavour. A great experience throughout our stay

Wigmore Jones have been fantastic throughout our stay with them. This was the first time working with a Letting Agency as previously we have always worked directly with the Landlord. From showing us our property, to the moving in process, we never had any issues.
