We have used Westmount Estates to both sell a difficult flat, as well as rent the same flat whilst we navigated the legal barriers to selling. Adrian was always realistic with us on sales price and advice over the years - where others said we could get more money, we wasted time with zero views. Only when we moved to Westmount and followed their advice, did we get any real traction to sell, despite the poor market at the time for flats. Very grateful to have gotten it over the line finally. Josh and team were phenomenal at managing the rental of our flat when we moved out. The tenants were great and updates on our property were spot on. We had some unlucky maintenance issues which required a lot of input and management from Josh. We were so grateful and so lucky to have had such a superb estate agent to reduce the stress on our side, keeping the need for our input to the minimum. Can't recommend Westmount Estates highly enough, across the board!

Professional staff, honest and transparent transactions, and excellent property management. As a tenant, I was very happy with Jos, he was always helpful and responded promptly whenever needed. I have dealt with two other estate agents in the past (both of whom were dishonest), but Westmount Estate Agents is the only one I was truly satisfied with. We 'accidently' bought a property through Westmount Estates. We weren't actively looking, we knew we wanted to move and had the funds to do so, but given the market and the interest rates we didn't expect to be successful in still finding the 'right' property for us. Anyway, flash forward to meeting Robert in June - one viewing later and we were completely sold! Robert was really, really knowledgable on the house and could answer all of our questions and it was on the one road in the area we really wanted to be. Robert was brilliant with keeping us up to date throughout the entire process, really quick to respond and answered all of our questions. I think it helped that the vendor's were so nice, also! When our solicitors were ignoring us, Robert chased on our behalf, when we had questions that our solicitor wouldn't answer, Robert found them for us. Buying a house is obviously not an every day thing, and Robert knew that and helped point us in the right direction of 'what's next' when we needed it. We have exchanged now, so completion is soon, but I think the entire process would take 10 years longer if it wasn't for his (and in his absence on holiday, the teams) proactiveness. It's been a really good experience. If I ever need an estate agent (hopefully not!!), we wouldn't hesitate to go through Robert and the team at Westmount.

Rob was really helpful throughout my sale, dealing with some pretty unreasonable buyers and slow solicitors. It was great to have him in my corner and working to get things sorted. He also didn't talk down to me like a lot of agents do, so I appreciated that. I got estimates from a few other places in the area and Westmount had the best combination of low fees, sensible pricing and good service. Would definitely recommend.

I echo what has been said about Josh. A really thorough, organised and diligent person. Westmount estates have helped me loads of times, finding tenants, helping with house purchases (I have bought two houses through them) and giving (loads of) advice over the years. They are really honest. I once paid Adrian a large sum of money in cash and got a call from him telling me I'd accidentally given them an extra £20. By far the best agents I've ever dealt with - and I have dealt with a lot!

I can't rate the team at Westmount Estates highly enough. Danny was instrumental in selling our house quickly and securing the purchase of our new house. The team are a really nice bunch of people, really communicative and helped move our sale and purchase along in what turned out to be a tedious transaction thanks to unprofessional conveyancers we had to deal with. Plus we were able to have a laugh along the way. It's clear Danny and the team have a strong sense of community and really care about their customers. As buyers our experience with Westmount is poor. We have dealt with the team on two different transactions and the patterns are the same. Throughout we were met with deceit, dishonesty and arrogance. Originally we were dealing with Danny, later with Adrian - while we had a more positive experience with him, we never managed to build a relationship of trust. We hope that our experience can serve as a warning to future buyers and sellers. A few examples of inappropriate dealings have come up: 1, phantom offers were repeatedly mentioned (especially by Danny) - later we learnt from our sellers that these never existed 2, Arranging a viewing was tricky, phone calls were not returned. On our viewings the team was unprepared about the properties on offer. Second viewings were refused - only managed these with weeks-long delays. 3, were asked to complete and then let the previous owners stay in the house for some time. Also were asked not to tell our solicitors about this small arrangement, as the team knew that it is a red flag that would never go through with a solicitor. When confronted, we were simply suggested: "well, everyone does that". 4, false reassurances about chains/seller's situation (all properties were advertised with a seller who "have already found another property that is chain free/is in a completed chain" - these statements later were found to be untrue on multiple occasions). 5, Repeatedly hid information about delays up the chain - at one point it meant that we were only notified of a 3 week delay the day before our completion date (later we found out the team was advised about this delay months before). Unfortunately, our experience does not seem unique - within our neighbourhood our friends had similar experience with the team.
