GoogleWe moved to Vida last month and our experience has been amazing so far, thankfully. The flat viewing was very helpful with Sam providing accurate information about the property and the units. There is a back garden where pets can walk anytime, bike storage and car park. It’s good that the property’s tidiness is maintained and there are no pet noise issues. The building looks decent from outside while inside one wouldn’t expect such spacious hallways. It’s quiet and secured, you can really feel the privacy. The units too are spacious as compared to others offered for same rate in the market. We moved in to a re-painted unit with brand new blinds installed. The large windows in both lounge and bedroom are my favourite as they reflect natural light. All our requests (pre and during tenancy) were timely fulfilled by the on-site team (Sam and Rebecca) such as replacing the sofa in the lounge and collecting the tv stand as its size isn’t suitable to our tv. We appreciate their responsiveness to our queries and requests. So far we are loving our stay at Vida 💕🙏🏼

The managers are completely incompetent
I all so realised that someone had been entering my apartment while I was away on business when I asked the manager there at the time I was ignored after even showing pictures of dirty cups in my sink after leaving no pots in the sink and my bed had been slept in all so plates and cutlery had disappeared management response was of no help at all even refusing to show me footage from the hallway security cameras
Stating the camera system was of site My personal opinion of Vida house is very negative

GoogleOur time at Vida House has been very pleasant. The interior of the building was just renovated to a high standard, featuring brand-new, secure doors in the hallways and parcel lockers for convenient collection to name just a few improvements. Throughout our tenancy, we felt the building management kept us very well informed and also promptly responded to our queries. Both James and Aimee put an effort in to help us out whenever possible, which is particularly appreciated during the lockdown period. Generally, Vida House is extremely well located, with easy access to Surrey Quays, Canada Water and South Bermondsey Stations. A big Lidl is just a 3-minute walk away. We would recommend renting here to anyone who is interested in decent living and appreciates the proximity to Central London.

GoogleI see this reviews before and I also suffer bad experience with this type of companies that just try to be smart on people that don't know.
First whenever you rent anything and you had this experience go to the citizen advisors and ask them to contact to your Ombudsman.
They will start the legal process and they could potentially push them to refund you the money on the best case... always contact them by email and take all pictures you can us soon you can. Be aware that this type of companies they make money this way and is very difficult to catch them because they usually make a company on the name of someone that is not on the country... like this it takes longer for them to close the place or for you to go to court.
Good luck to all and if they are not scamers the citizens advisor with the ombudsman will let you know if the contract is legal and what you ask is right.

GoogleMy partner and I lived at Vida House for 1 year and would've stayed longer if it hadn't been for an unexpected change in our lives. Moving in was an incredibly fast and smooth process, and overall a pleasant experience. We moved in as the building was being renovated, which certainly brought a handful of challenges. However, Sam and Rebecca have made sure to communicate every detail as soon as possible, so we were always aware of what was happening.
They were always very understanding, responsive, and supportive to whatever needs we may have. Even requests like getting a meter reading were fulfilled on the same day, which made it very pleasant to deal with these kinds of admin tasks.
When it came to renewing our tenancy, Rebecca did everything in her power to negotiate a good price for us, without a massive increase and showed that she really cares about the tenants. Unfortunately, we decided to move out, however, we would both be more than happy to move back, as this really is an amazing value for money. The rent is really not too bad for the space you get but what really makes this place amazing is the quality of appliances (and even the flooring etc.), the amazing service from Rebecca and Sam, having a parcel room and parcel locker on site, as well as a maintenance team, and the location (close to major stations and big supermarkets).
I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to move in this area!

GoogleI’ve lived here at Vida House for 14 years under two landlords. Way of Life Management here @ VH present excellent quality apartments, good communication all with friendly and efficient tenant relationships.
It is for me personally the perfect apartment block to reside in, great commuting connections, quiet, regularly cleaned communal areas and outside rear garden space. Rebecca and Sam run the block with a professional and caring approach, thank you guys!

GoogleI lived here for 14 months in the most premium flat that the building had to offer. Since moving out 6 weeks ago they have totally messed my deposit up by switching it into a different Tennants name who hasn’t responded to my requests to release it. They’ve taken the matter very lightly and have done very little to assist me getting £1150 back which I was rely on to move into my new property (which I since lost).
On top of this… for the whole of December and January 2021/22 we had no running water approximately 2-3 days a week, I was going to work without a wash or a shower or even brushing my teeth until I got to work… not only did they refuse to offer us anything but they actively denied requests for compensation. The boiler also broke and destroyed lots of my storage cupboard (again, zero offer of compensation) not even an apology. Countless other issues, poor extraction fans meant that paint would continually fall off the ceilings and need to be cleaned up daily.
Basically a great building and area but the management company Way Of Life are close to being crooks when it comes to protecting you in terms or living standards and finances. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
