Trading Places Leytonstone reviews in London

We recently sold our house through Trading places and had the best experience with Jennifer as our agent. We initially had a few valuations from different Leytonstone agents in the same area, and we even had one in mind to use that wasn't Trading Places. But when Jennifer came to value our property she shared our concern about the whole process including leaving our home and the area. She set us at ease and showed us the human element to the sale rather than it simply being a business transaction. A buyer was found very quickly after it was put on the market, and even though our own purchase fell through 3 times, Jennifer remained so patient with us and somehow kept our own buyer in the chain. We are so grateful to her and our eventual buyers - and all at the best selling fee! Wouldn't use anyone else now. Thank you Jennifer and Trading Places.

I recently switched over to Trading Places to manage my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Their excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail have given me complete peace of mind renting my property out with them. The entire team at the office is friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend Trading Places to anyone looking to buy, rent, or sell. Thank you Gary, Jenny and the team.

I’ve lived in a property managed by Trading Places led by Gary Butler for nearly 7 years and I have never dealt with anyone better. With this increasingly challenging rental market, they’ve been very fair and extremely loyal, which has made it very easy for me to continue my tenancy with them. The maintenance team led by Kevin Butler is very efficient; making sure any issues are dealt with promptly!

Trading Places have managed a property that I let out for over a decade and they've been excellent. It's a small family firm, really friendly and always willing to listen and help find the best solution to whatever issues come up. They've been very supportive recently when I've been dealing with a particularly difficult tenancy. Many thanks to Gary and Kevin and, in the past, Steve. You've been great.

My friend and I recently rented a property from Trading Places. It is not the first time I rent from an agency, but I must say it is the first time the referencing process went so smooth from the beginning to the end. Gary and Steve were very professional and helpful, and with their help we got our new home! I can't recommend Trading Places enough!

Steve and Gary have been so helpful in supporting us to find our place, the process was smooth and the communication was great. They were responsive and proactive about any issues we had, which was very reassuring with all the anxieties that can come with moving in. We genuinely felt taken care of as tenants which can be rare. Thank you to the team!

Gary and the team are the best estate agents I have ever met. They genuinely care about people, and finding the right home for people to live in. The service was brilliant all the way through: they have excellent knowledge and made legal jargon easy to understand; they took the time and made us feel like no question was a bother; and they really cared, we felt like they went above and beyond. Thanks so much for helping us find our new home.

It is with a mixture of jubilation and regret that my 25 year relationship with the best of estate agents ‘Trading Places’ of Leytonstone comes to an end. There have been few relationships in my life that have been so accommodating, collaborative, ethical and just plain fair to all parties concerned as this one. From buying to managing and to recently selling (without leaving Glasgow) their consummate professionalism in dealing with, myself, tenants and ultimately buyers has been exemplary. My faith in this company has led me to seek mortgage, project management, maintenance and more recently conveyancing and legal advice, resulting in the painless and successful sale of my property. I cannot recommend Jen and Gary, their team and all the professional contacts they work with to assist you through the various, sometimes overwhelming processes, highly enough. A bittersweet conclusion to a wonderful 25 year partnership. Thank you so much, Trading Places! Norma Howe

As recent sellers we cannot speak highly enough of Jen at Trading Places. We were very much leaning towards selling through another Estate Agent but on meeting Jen we were so impressed by her warmth and her professionalism and her no nonsense approach (if she was unsure of something she said so) that we changed our minds and went with Jen and Trading Places. We are very very happy that we did so. Jen responded quickly to the questions we had at various points and guided us throughout the whole process. Thank you Jen!

I brought my house through Trading Places in 2001. I have now just sold it through them as well. There are not words to describe how amazing Jen is. She is professional and an all round nice girl. So hard working and committed. She responds immediately and knows everything about selling a house. A thanks to Steve and Judith also. I would highly recommend Trading Places as an estate agent. I used to think estate agents didn’t do a lot 😁 but that is definitely not the case. Sad to leave Leytonstone after 34 years but up for another adventure. Thanks all.

We bought our flat through Trading Places 15 years ago and were really impressed by how helpful and efficient Jen was. We then used them as our letting agent for 5 years again very successfully. When we decided to sell there was only one option. The sale went through without a hitch thanks again to Jen's hard work. If you are buying or selling in the area this is the only estate agent to consider!

These are one of the best agents I have delt with. Steve was brilliant from start to finish, I'm so glad I walked in and got chance to speak with him. He was super helpful, friendly and efficient and found our perfect place in the same day! (We had been looking for weeks too). I would recommend these agents to anyone.

Gary and Steve both dealt with our move. They were super quick at responding, helped secure our offer at good speed and always polite and personable along the way. It felt like they considered our needs as tenants, as much as they usually would the landlords, which is refreshing!

Jen was exceptional when helping us with our home sale, she was quick to help with any queries we had, calmed everything down whenever the chain got twitchy, and demonstrated her 20+ years of expertise in the field. Trading places is the best in the business, I would definitely recommend

Excellent let-only service from start to finish. They made sure everything was compliant with the new legal requirements, their fees were very fair, and their advice was invaluable. They know the local area and the market inside out, and they're genuinely great people to deal with. Highly recommended!

I'am writing this review to recognise and recommend the outstanding service, Professionalism and Expertise of Trading Places Estate Agents in Leytonstone East London. The family run team of Gary Kevin and Jen have looked after my rental property giving outstanding service, finding good tenants and dealing with queries quickly. When selling the property Jen coordinated the viewings and her professional approach was evident when she organised an open house that attracted multiple offers, leading to a quick sale. if you are looking to Buy ,Sell, or Rent a Property I recommend you give them a call. I used Trading Places 5 years ago and got the impression then that nothing was more important to them than finding a suitable tenant for my house. It was the same this time. Steve produced a very good advertisement which was accurate, comprehensive and thoughtfully presented. Gary ensured that every email received a prompt reply, and all the necessary paperwork was produced without delay. Throughout they gave helpful advice. I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

I have known the Team at Trading Places for over 20 years. In fact they sold me my flat over 20 years ago and we have been doing business ever since. Both Kevin, Gary, Jen, Steve and Team go over an beyond. I could not be happier with their service, which is why after 20 years I never left! Customer Services is at the heart of this well run family firm.

I used Trading Places as letting agents for a property I owned for many years with great service throughout. When I decided to sell, Jen worked tirelessly through many difficulties to achieve the sale. They are very professional, have excellent local knowlege and work as a team. I would highly recommend.

Excellent local estate agent. I bought through them 20 years ago and then used them again when I sold. For the sale my agent was Jen - she has great local knowledge and got me a very good offer within a week of the first viewing. Highly recommended for anyone buying or selling.
