We had a house fall through with a different agency and I can’t describe to you the stark difference in service when we started speaking to Stow Brothers. Their staff are interested, hardworking and respond to correspondence quickly. Claudia especially made our sale as comfortable as it could be and we couldn’t recommend her enough. We had an excellent experience buying and selling with the Stow Brothers! Eva responded immediately to my request for a valuation, and was professional, friendly and knowledgeable throughout. The team got our flat on the market swiftly, with great marketing materials, and they were transparent and organised when it came to viewings. As soon as we accepted an offer Eva helped us find our dream new home within a week, and the amazing sales progressions team (Claudia and Tiffany) saw us through the whole process. They even had a list of recommended conveyancers, which was a real help. It was very refreshing to work with a team who felt like real human beings (!) and who gave straight answers. I'm currently (Jan 2020) a tenant of Stow Bros, renting a house. They are extremely slow in responding to issues and getting anything fixed. for example... we're currently into our second week without a working kitchen, and keep being told it's "not an emergency" and "these things take time". This could have easily been fixed within 24hrs. I have to chase them with several phonecalls and emails to get any response, and it's usually "nothing has been done". Really poor service, especially for a company that sells itself on providing excellent customer support.

Undoubtedly Stow Brothers are slick marketers and certainly pull in the punters. (Pre-Covid, viewings were uncomfortably packed). But as a buyer there’s little sense anyone’s taking a particular interest in you. Jumping straight to ‘best and final’ offers isn’t a great policy, nor is failing to contact you when a house you failed to get is back on the market, because they’ve decided they know what level of offer you’d put in the second time round and dismiss you! My experience once I was successful with an offer was poor. The sales progressors provided no help with the difficulties of being in a chain. At one point mine seemed close to collapse, but If I found anything out it was only through being contacted by my vendors. Direct communication with them became vital. I got no updates even when there was a frustrating delay for a whole week before exchange. If I was a seller I’d be concerned I could lose a sale because of poor liaison with my buyer; as it is I’m pleased I wasn’t the one paying Stow.

We had the most amazing experience with Stow Brothers from start to finish. From our first line contact through Kim we were handed on to the very superb Claudia Delapina , who was the most perfect facilitator of communication and service during our very quick process (considering Covid & a health scare!). The attention to transaction detail was superlative and the entire office works as a well-oiled machine at all times of the day. No matter who picks the phone up....messages get through promptly. The Stow Brothers team are very well trained and never seem to have to refer queries "up the line". This cannot happen by accident. Their training and management structure is well ordered and fluid. The overall experience for the vendor is perfect and more to the point, the deal that they gave us was the best in town. The advice that we were given regarding the asking price was spot on and through Claudia's perfect diplomatic skills between buyer and vendor we all achieved the desired result. I would always pick Stow Brothers for any East London Sale or Purchase. Simply superb!
