Very disappointing experience overall

Very disappointing experience overall. The service felt careless and inconsistent from the beginning. Communication was slow, unprofessional and constantly unreliable. I shouldn’t have to chase people this much just to get basic answers. There was no sense of urgency, no ownership, no real accountability. At some point it became very obvious that my time and effort were valued far less than theirs. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone who wants clarity, efficiency, or a professional approach. The market has moved forward.

As a conveyancing solicitor I work with many agents. Some agents are good to work with, some less so. Diellza at Tattlers Estate Agents was FANTASTIC! Rather than just endlessly badgering for exchange and completion and updates, Diellza was more focused on the transaction as a whole and moving it along as swiftly and stress free as possible for both the buyer and the seller. A plus for me was that Diellza let me get on and do my job and was there when I needed support and assistance in following matters up or getting hold of other parties. She also obviously did a good job with the negotiations as my buyer clients paid over the asking for their property!!!! I would highly recommend Diellza and I hope to work with her again in the near future.

I tried to arrange a viewing with Tatlers and the communication was extremely poor. They promised call backs that never happened, and emails were left unanswered. It became clear that I was putting in more effort to move things forward than they were. For a real estate agency, this level of communication simply isn’t acceptable. If the first step is already this difficult, I can’t imagine how the rest of the process would be. I genuinely think homeowners should reconsider working with this agency. Buyers shouldn’t have to chase this hard just to view a property in the first place.

Michael Luckhurst at Tatlers in Muswell Hill was professional and friendly

We had a clear idea about where we wanted to live and had even identified our preferred road, so I contacted Tatlers Estate Agents in Muswell Hill because they have a very good reputation in the area. Before making an offer, I spoke to Michael Luckhurst from Tatlers who kindly gave me more information about the local property market and lots of helpful advice about how to position ourselves so that we had the best chance of securing a property. When a property came up, we rushed to put in an offer, which was accepted. Recognising that we were first-time buyers, Michael was on hand to answer questions and give us really valuable advice. Throughout the process he was very professional and friendly. He was in regular contact with us and went out of his way us to ensure that the sale went smoothly, including making himself available when he was on annual leave. He made what could have been a very stressful process much easier. I would highly recommend Michael and Tatlers. We will definitely employ their services if we decide to sell.

Marco Moloudi took excellent care of us during the very long and convoluted process of us trying to buy a flat in Crouch End! From March 2019 to September 2020 everything went wrong that possibly could, everything was complicated and difficult and delayed and throughout it all Marco was there for us. He was invariably extremely helpful, competent and efficient and always went out of his way to reassure us, to iron out difficulties and facilitate our purchase. He even made himself available to us late on Christmas Eve and I believe he was the one person who was actually instrumental in getting contracts exchanged before Christmas! Without him it would not have happened. Marco is a courteous, intelligent and very pleasant young man, who is excellent at his job; he is a pleasure to deal with and he undoubtedly has a great career ahead of him. I can only recommend him very highly.

Excellent, excellent team. I've worked with many estate agents, including two on this particular sale. Vimal is calm and professional and does exactly what he says he's going to do. Sounds simple but this is actually pretty rare. From beginning to end Marco fully managed the sale. He liaised with us, the buyers, the tradesmen and was regularly in contact with both sets of solicitors. Marco would always know exactly what was going on, I did not have to chase him once. In fact, I'm sure he was the main reason we were in a position to complete within 6 weeks. Dan Reid provided an absolute superb service and cannot be praised highly enough. I was in a chain of 7 and Dan stepped in at a difficult time as my previous buyers withdrew (for personal reasons) at the last moment. I needed to secure new buyers quickly and received an offer for the full asking place on the same day that the previous buyers withdrew. We needed to move quickly and Dan went above and beyond in pro actively keeping the entire chain up to date with developments and in ensuring that the sale proceeded promptly. In addition, my vendor did not have an agent, so Dan had to do more of the work than could generally be anticipated: he did this cheerfully and without complaint. Dan also worked very hard to ensure that my vendor's vendor (who was particularly anxious) was kept reassured as to timetable and general progress. One of Dan's biggest strengths is that he is very prompt in returning calls and pro active at making contact in the first place; as the client you are never left chasing him! Dan was a rock: a reassuring presence in the general turmoil, which inevitably results from such a long chain. Dan was an absolute star from start to finish and his support ensured that stress was kept to the minimum and at a manageable level!
