Buying and Selling through Strutt and Parker

We were in the fortunate position of selling our house through Strutt and Parker in Winchester and buying through Strutt and Parker in Salisbury. Which allowed for fantastic communication through a time that could have been difficult. Fiona in the Salisbury office was fantastic and managed to balance the need of the vendors along with our needs to buy the house. She was bright, friendly and helpful at all times. Patrick in the Winchester office, along with the rest of his team, worked above and beyond to get our house moving through these strange Covid times. It was always good to see a member of the team for the viewings. I can’t not rate our experience with Strutt and Parker highly enough.

A Cottage in the Cotswolds

We took a risk by selling our house with a ten weeks completion date in which to find a rental in which to live in the Cotswolds. The market for rental was totally overheated. almost no properties were available. Some agents were very offhand in dealing with us. We were fortunate that a property marketed by Strutt and Parker Banbury became available and their agent actively contacted us in response to our previous enquiry. Through their careful negotiation it was possible to agree terms to change from a furnished let to our being able to take out the furniture and install our own. The property had not been well treated, but the agent arranged that it was spruced up and cleaned before our arrival. The whole process involved considerable work on behalf of the agent without which it would not have been successful. We enjoyed a very personal experience which made our move possible and we can thoroughly recommend S & P's service..

Strutt and Parker Salisbury (Sarah Cull) has been a delight to work with. The process of buying a house can be painful, but Sarah’s charming professionalism, patience, honesty, tenacity, kindness and extraordinary diplomatic negotiating skills, sets herself and Strutt and Parker way ahead of the other estate agents in the area (we had dealings with most of them.) The sale of our house was handled by Marcus Browne in the Winchester office. The whole sale process was expertly managed by Marcus and the service provided by Strutt & Parker was excellent throughout. The sale was very complicated but Marcus handled the whole process with professionalism and true commitment. I changed my estate agent to Strutt & Parker a few months ago because the previous agent was singularly inadequate with no results in sight - not so with Strutt & Parker and Marcus Browne.

The Strutt and Parker team in Exeter led by Ollie have just sold our farm house, a range of stone barns and our Q barn.It started by two visits by the team discussing how to go about the sale and how to divide the property up.We then put it on the market and left them to sort all the problems out.What a fantastic decision that was, It was a difficult property to market but they made it look easy, we even had discussions with them well outside office hours.A big thank you to the whole team, we would not only use them again we have also recommended them to friends.First class service.

A sterling effort in difficult conditions

We put our wonderful old house on the market in September 2018, just in time for the worst of the Brexit impasse, followed in early 2020 by Covid-19. In these inauspicious market conditions Strutt and Parker worked extra-hard to publicise the house, with features in the Telegraph, The Sunday Times and elsewhere, as well as getting us a free repeat advert in Country Life. The brochure was excellent as was the Matterport 3-D digital survey. Throughout the 2 years it took to sell, they kept us well informed of the market, and the views of potential buyers. We were pleased by the service they provided.

In 1992 Strutt and Parker sold me a lovely house in Kent with a small estate, presented with complete honesty as to its drawbacks but clearly showing its immediate attractions, and its serious potential. For the next thirty years, they offered guidance and support as I kept track of the market in deciding when to sell. That led to a very satisfactory sale of the property in 2014 and successful outlying sales in 2020. I just rented a new apartment through Strutt & Parker in Gerrards Cross. From the moment I contacted Katie and Charlotte in lettings, I’ve had nothing but a professional and efficient service. I had an issue with referencing as I’ve not been in the UK for a long period and hence, my credit history was limited. Charlotte and Katie did everything possible to convince the Landlord that I was a reliable and trustworthy tenant. Thanks to their hard work, the Landlord accepted my application. Managing the difficult things well

We have just gone through a house move which lets just say was not as simple as anyone had hoped, but it was kept on track by the excellent team at Strutt and Parker in Guildford. The process we encountered on our sale was complex, and the relationship with our seller was managed exceptionally well by Jackie - who quite frankly kept the dream alive, and us heading into the house we had dreamed of for our family for the next 20 or 30 years. Well done Salisbury office!

Strutt & Parker's Salisbury office acted as my selling agents for my six bedroom home with 13 acres of fields and woods in Swallowcliffe, near Tisbury in SW Wiltshire. Fiona Pengelly and Sarah Cull provided their usual excellent service, and Carola Mangnall showed prospective buyers round. I sold to one of the first viewers. Throughout the process Sarah liaised with the buyers and dealt with any issues. All in all a job very well done in these difficult Covid times.
