GoogleI cannot recommend this agency. Unprofessionals, breach of contract and tenant rights. Confirmed and supported by Shelter and housing solicitor. They did not have the rights or valid reason under the tenancy agreement and the right to quiet enjoyment to enter the property unannounced. After many attempts of reasoning with them for a convient time for a visit they continued to try to force entry in the flat with their management keys. And no, we didn't destroy the place or created any nuisance, we left for obvious reasons, and got the full deposit back with no issues.

GoogleAlex, Filipo, Michaela and Robyn were all brilliant in the sale of our recent flat. We were very happy with the professional photos and advert produced and the flat sold within a week of going on the market. The team were also brilliant at helping to move our sale forward when there were some issues with the buyers solicitor, and were great at keeping us and our solicitor in the loop. All completed now and very happy. Thank you!

From our first contact where Alex gave the most realistic valuation of our flat and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the local area and property market through to the absolutely awesome service provided by Michaela - We were in a very complicated chain, but Michaela kept plugging away to remove any blocks that eventually allowed us to complete just in time to save some money on Stamp Duty. GoogleHave now bought and sold through these guy and been very pleased with the experience both times. Worked with them for nearly a year to get our house sold and buy something around the corner. Their HG and Catford offices know their markets better than anyone else and they are responsive and sensible. Everyone knows that moving house in London can be hard work and stressful so you need an agent who understands the market and is straight forward to deal with. Specific shout out to Michaela in HG and Jack in Catford who were very responsive, easy to deal with and gave great advice. Recommend these guys if you are buying / selling anywhere in their patch!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleMy wife and I purchased our first property through Stanford Estates and they were fantastic throughout the process. We made our initial offer right at the beginning of lockdown, and even with C19 delaying things, Stanford Estates were brilliant throughout. Although the entire team was great, Chris Palmer in particular was fantastic. Chris was our main point of contact and did a tremendous job; we always felt he was honest, straightforward and there was none of the “typical estate agent smoke and mirrors”. He kept us up to date; he helped us resolve any issues; he bent over backwards to help us answer any questions we had, and overall we couldn’t have asked for more. If you are in the process of buying or selling a property, I highly recommend going through Stanford Estates and Chris and his team. When time comes for us to sell we will definitely be going through Stanford Estates.

Chris was very supportive when challenges arose during the process - both ourselves and the sellers could not have got through the process without him. GoogleAlex and the team offered a first class service, from the valuation, guidance on how they would market my property, the photos, and they provided constant feedback on viewings. Once I had accepted an offer, Lucy offered such fantastic assistance all the way through to completion. I would especially like to thank Lucy who really goes the extra mile to help with any questions. I can’t leave without a special thanks to Micheala, she was there when I purchased the property through Stanford Estate over 5 years ago, she is always so helpful. GoogleWe went with Stanfords after trying to sell our flat through PurpleBricks. The difference in customer service was outstanding. Chris, Alex and the team were so professional and always on top of everything that came up. We're very grateful to everyone there, especially Chris. If ever anything came up in the sale, he'd more often than not be one step ahead in terms of getting a solution ready. Little things, like nearly always being able to get through to someone on the phone were really appreciated as well. I'd thoroughly recommend Stanford Estates.

GoogleWe purchased our first home through Stanford Estates, and we cannot recommend them, or our agent Michaela Wyles, highly enough. We felt like they treated us and our vendors with equal compassion and respect and did a great job of balancing our respective perspectives and wishes. We were in a chain of four which had its challenges, and were daunted in general by the complexity of the process as first time buyers. Michaela was never anything but helpful, supportive, and patient with us and we genuinely felt that the whole office was cheering for us when we completed and got the keys to our first home. On a personal note we never felt like we were just clients to Michaela; after almost daily phone calls for a monthly or two, we would consider her a trusted friend of the family and will always have room at our table for her. Hopefully we never EVER have to move again, but if we do, we will call Michaela for sure!!

GoogleWe bought our flat in Forest Hill through Stanford Estates and had such a positive experience that when it was time to sell, they were our first choice. We have never had anything other than excellent service from start to finish. Proactive, diligent and approachable staff with great local knowledge. They were able to turn around the sale materials at extremely short notice. We really cannot recommend Malcolm Goes at the Hither Green branch highly enough: above and beyond doesn’t do justice to his approach!

When there were a couple of issues with some of the mandatory checks that needed to be carried out, Chris was in touch with the landlord and ensured everything was resolved and everybody was happy very quickly.
