A magnanimous performance that made the transition of buying our dream home hassle free. Nick provided an exceptional service and helped us get the best value out of our property and even helped negotiate the purchase price to help with the sale. The personal touch made the process feel like someone was there to answer our questions at all times. I wouldn't ever consider using another company as the service they provide cannot be compared for the low costs. A saving of thousands of pounds and also a saving of stress, managing the whole chain effectively through to completion! Thank you!

A brilliant and effective way of selling your home

From the moment that I asked Sellmyhome to help me in marketing my own house it was absolutely plain sailing with no stress whatsoever. ...getting it expertly valued, being advised on how to best present it to interested viewers, having magnificent photos taken by an excellent photographer and even flowers arriving on that day to add to the attractive appearance of the living room. What you always wanted from an estate agent.

After many less enjoyable experiences of estate agents (pushiness, over-selling, not marketing the property) we chose to put our large Dutch houseboat on the market through Sellmyhome.co.uk. We chose the top London package which really showed the vessel from its best side. The virtual walk around tour (included) is fantastic and really makes an impact in this visual age - the platform itself is easy and intuitive to use, something we much appreciated. On the human side, we were allocated dedicated our account manager who was always available to answer our questions, talk through viewing requests etc. If she wasn't available, there was always some on the phone who could help: SMH clearly share information around the office which makes for a win-win situation all around. Particularly impressive (and I hope SMH benefitted from this) was a big article placed in a widely circulated daily newspaper off the back of which we got a lot of enquiries. The boat ultimately sold with the help of SMH and the fantastic services provided. We recommend it highly.

It is when things go wrong you really test customer service

I can fully recommend the team at sellmyhome. While it makes complete sense to save money this way, you also need it to work. If you are going to do the viewings yourself or have people to do that then this is really the way to go. The sellmyhome team had some trouble initially with photographers in Scotland (where the house was I sold with them) and they were the first to say the shots were not good enough. The got another two photographers round (at no cost to me) and we ended up with a really good quality set for the marketing. The team are very responsive and well after you have paid your fee, they continue to be proactive and really do care about the result. This makes sense as the more they sell the more people will realise it works. I also like the way you are in control if you want to be so you can adjust price/advert etc etc whenever you want on the site and this pushes through to rightmove and zoopla. At the end of the day everyone buying a house are looking on those sites even in Edinburgh with their solicitors portal. We sold for asking price in less than a month. Highly recommended. Ewan

Excellent Service

Although initially I was a little hesitant before deciding to go with Sellmy home I soon discovered that any fears were unfounded. The entire process has been relatively stress free (selling your home is always going to result in some stress!). Sarah E. was brilliant and was always readily available to deal with any queries I had, The service, not least the customer care was excellent. Within days of signing up, floor plans, energy certificate and photographs had all been completed efficiently. The entire team was great but the photographer was particularly skilled and I was delighted with the final pictures for the brochure and the website. The virtual tour was a great idea and just what a prospective buyer needs. The website was easy to navigate and I liked the degree of control it gave me in organising viewings. Within a few days I had an offer and can't believe just how positive the whole experience has been. Would definitely recommend SMH to anyone thinking of selling their home. The fact that you also save a great deal of money means that this has to be the way to sell your property.

I used them to sell my Mum's house and they were great from start to finish

I found the whole process of completing the documentation, writing the specification of the property and liaising with Sellmyhome over taking the photos and the EPC remarkably easy. The quality of the photos was great and the "soft" voiceover artist describing the property was a great addition. I had a couple of questions over the terms and conditions of sale but the partners were easily contactable and the questions were resolved very easily. The process of booking and responding to viewing queries was also great and I particularly liked the "hit" counter which gave confidence that the property was getting viewed on line. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

Cut out the middle man

Sellmyhome.co.uk is a real no-brainer when it comes to deciding how to sell your home. You avoid dealing with tricky agents & money-for-nothing fees, put your property on at what you think it is worth & have full control of viewings & sales negotions - though SMH will guide & help you throughout this. These days most people search using Primelocation, Zoopla or an equivalent rather than liaising directly with agents so you have the same exposure on the market. I went with a basic package and the SMH team came and took photos & did a floor plan. I had a range of valuations from highstreet agents all eager for a quick sale and actually decided to put it on at a higher asking price. The property was on the market in minutes and viewings lined up soon after. In a few weeks, I had an asking price offer. SMH were supportive before, during and after the sale. Personally, I think this is the future of the property market & would certainly use SMH again.

Saved a lot of money!

We decided to use Sellmyhome as we had a lovely little flat in a great location, so knew it wasnt going to be difficult sell as long as we didn't overprice it (which estate agents were trying to get us to do). Doing the viewings ourselves proved to be a huge advantage - we were able to answer questions estate agents arent able to and give a local viewpoint. For us it was a very positive experience, the flat is now sold and we have moved into our new place. And we saved ourselves a significant chunk of money in the process!

Spot on service.

Excellent service especially with a big discount as my partner and I were selling 3 houses at the same time. Saved a lot of money

I don't mind doing things differently, so when it came to selling my home I looked into online estate agents in order to save the minimum 2k you have to pay locally. I came across a few online agents, but the price SMH were offering was very appealing and I thought it was worth the punt. I had 4 estate agents out to value my home, but I wasn't happy with any of them as they were too low for my liking. At this point I decided to invest 2.5k on a new kitchen and carpets to maximize the asking price. The highest valuation from the one of the estate agents was apparently the ceiling price for that area, even with a new kitchen as they told me, I managed to sell 8k over that ceiling price. I would definitely recommend Sellmyhome.co.uk, managing viewings and offers was very easy, all done online. Also Henry from SMH was only an email away to help out.

Such a great concept, saves you tens of thousands of pounds and makes light work of marketing you're property to the right buyers effectively. Simple, reliable and great service

We thought we would try it as the agent fees are so high when you consider that you actually do most of the selling when people view our home. Pleasurable experience !!!

The new way to sell your home

Saved over £14,000, complete control over the process - why use a high street agent?!

I was recommend using Sellmyhome by a friend. Before registering, I rang them up because I'm always slightly cautious about how online businesses deal with customers who want to speak. They're very professional and responsive on both email and the phone. The website is great. Easy to use, managing viewings was a doddle. We had 5 viewing requests within the first few days of the property being marketed, and two people offered the asking price. I really don't understand why homeowners still insist in using high street agents. Seems archaic! If I end up selling again in the future, I'll use these guys. Thanks so much.
