My experience with Rent London has been a nightmare. After facing a serious situation that required us to vacate our property on police advice, we repeatedly contacted Rent London for assistance with the tenancy. Despite numerous emails and calls, they failed to respond or provide any meaningful help for months. When we did manage to get a response, by Darrel Kwong, we were dismissed. Our situation has been ignored completely and we have just been repeatedly told we were “breaking the contract” by requesting termination, despite having no choice but to leave and move far away. He is condescending, unprofessional and rude.

Just recently relocated to London for my new teaching job. I thought trying to relocate during a global pandemic would have been an absolute nightmare, but Shannon and the team at RentLondonFlat were absolutely fantastic. Any queries I had Shannon always responded by phone or email in a very professional manner, she is a real asset to the company!They organised a virtual viewing of the apartment and discussed any queries I had. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning and anything extra we asked for (such as workdesks in the bedrooms) were provided for. The property when I moved in was exactly as seen in the ad and was cleaned really well!Would recommend anyone looking to rent around the London area to use these guys, I will be recommending them to any of my friends/family who relocate to London! As foreigner, I do not need to fly there to attend to any handing over and furnishings of the unit. They have many teams ( leasing and maintenance) in different area in London. I have no worries of maintenance of the units and continuity of the leases. Recently ,my Harrow unit was leased at higher rent by 6.7% by Shannon Taberman

Terrible experience with rent London flat. They have failed to return my deposit despite meeting all the requirements and agreeing to return it to me. Despite multiple confirmations it would be paid nearly a month later still nothing, which is a clear breach of their legal obligations. Repeated attempts to contact them have been ignored, showing a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. Avoid this agency unless you want to risk losing your money!

If I could give them no stars I would.They didn't tell us about a huge bill that we had to pay with a preexisting energy company that we didn't even know was connected to our property (as well as trying to make us pay for the old tenants' bill that they hadn't paid either!) - and then because of a weak clause in the contract, our deposit was unfairly taken off us at the end. Proceed with caution with RFL!

Thank you for the review Sophy. I was the member of staff who dealt with your initial complaint and the subsequent deposit dispute, which was decided by an independent third party. I did sympathise with your initial complaint, as for some reason the utility bills were not being sent to you directly from the building management company, so appreciate to get such a large sum at the end of the tenancy was a little unfair. However, it was for your usage, so you were not being asked to pay anymore than were using. Also to make clear, I did offer a contribution of 50% towards the cost of the heat bill as a gesture of goodwill, which you declined and decided to take to dispute. This company is a joke! It's a waste of your time, don't go with them. First I booked 2 viewings online and I though it was good as easy to do so. But then, Franky cancelled both viewings and after several days of chasing every day by text, he was still unable to organise a viewing, making excuses involving the tenants (I precise that the properties were supposed to be available either immediately or within the month, so moving date was close). So unprofessional and time-consuming for nothing.

Abysmal service. I checked the event on the day and the viewing was still on with an accepted status next to Fathy Nekheli, who was going to show us around the property, only to get there and not only didn't he turn up but I checked the calendar event again and he has now declined, kept ringing and no one answered. We spent an hour driving to the destination as well. No courtesy phone call, we wouldn't mind if we had a call to cancel, but this is worse.

My agent Frankie and his colleague have been very helpful, always respond to our e-mails in a timely manner and complied with our requests. Frankie was also very professional during the viewing. The use of electronic contracts/referencing also made the whole renting process much more convenient for both parties, and the whole move in procedure was done without any hassle.
