Recently went through Portico to rent a property in London. Erick kindly provided a video of the property we eventually rented as we were unable to view in person as we were living abroad. Communication with Erick was efficient and timely throughout and this made the process as stress free as possible. Following moving in to our new flat queries were answered in an equally succinct manor. I would recommend Portico, especially to those moving to London from over-seas.

The letting agent Lauren was very friendly and helpful throughout the process and provided excellent communication. She wasn't too pushy as well when we were slow with things. There were a few frustrations with the process, primarily a couple of broken furniture pieces which were not made aware to us in advance of signing and works not being sorted until after we moved in, but on the whole the property side of things went very smoothly and we are very pleased with the house!

Once again I'm forced to edit my review after them begging me to change it to a good one in the first place. Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible work ethic, unprofessional and rude. I feel like I'm talking to a politician with their scripted answers and careless replies. Not only did they allow me to move into a disgusting unclean flat full off the last tenants rubbish hidden in the basement. But after doing things like taking days off work so they could service the boiler which they assured me was a routine check it was revealed shortly after they were in fact doing it to get me out of the property and completely lied about the purpose. After which they threaten me with their contract, cherry picking parts that suit them and trying to lie to me again. Holly is both rude, uncaring and arrogant, I've asked them to wait till Thursday for a evaluation as I'm not there and my disabled cousin is on his own and would be very stressed with unknown people trying to come in, yet they continue to harass me with emails saying they will break in without me there, even though I have 2 whole months till I move out. Absolutely disgusted with how I've been treated by Holly Pearson.

GoogleNever had the misfortune of engaging with Portico, until they slowly crept in by tisking the financial security of my parter during her latest move. Somehow the entire team has exhibited a toxic cocktail of deceit, incompetence and neglect, potentially still costing us our new flat. If there is a hell Portico is the realtor at the gates.

GoogleI’ve had my flats let with Portico Fulham for years and am very happy with the service from Holly, Ehsan, Candecia and the wider team. Tenants have always been found quickly and without void periods. The cost of the service and contractors may not be the cheapest but maintenance of the properties is dealt with thoroughly and promptly.

All we have had with the Portico Leyton team is issue after issue over the span of two years. They have zero respect for their renters and they enable unethical landlord practices and behaviour. Avoid this agency at all costs if you want to be respected as a renter. The incompetence of their property management team is absolutely shocking.

Re Portico Clapham Common office. Rented a property from portico for a year. When we moved in it was not clean at all. Found mouse droppings, which was reported but not believed until we actually saw the mouse. Did not give us a complete inventory. Actually gave us an inventory for the wrong property. After telling them they did nothing about it. Not really an issue as tenants but the landlord was annoyed. At the end of the tenancy had to chase multiple times to try and find out what was happening as no clean or inventory had been done on move in. Just got told they would get back to us. Still went through all the usual processes without actually having discussed with us what was going on, or communicating to their own staff. Honestly the most incompetent and useless estate agents. If you’re renting it’s fine as they do nothing to confirm the state of the property on move in, but if you’re a landlord definitely not ideal and would complete avoid! I cannot stress enough how incompetent and useless they are as estate agents.

We listed our property with the Leyton branch. From the get go their service was great. Both Mark and Michelle were great a getting viewings booked in, confirming bookings and hosting bookings. They fully understood our need to secure a certain amount for our property so that we could continue or journey. We had early offers but couldn’t accept as they were too low. They were patient and understanding and did all they could to secure us more bookings. When we sold our property they were right there with information support and guidance. Michelle was great at helping me chasing solicitors , estate agents, the lot. You name it she was there, a real trooper, cold not have got through the last couple of months with her. She had my back the whole way in what was quite honestly so stressful because of other professionals!Thank you

Sasha and his team have been excellent - from the valuation of our property to the exchange of contracts. Through their network of potential buyers, they had organised 12 viewings and we sold our house within a week. They have been at our side every step of the selling process. Prompt replies to any queries and friendly and helpful staff. I would like to give a special mention to Sean Hewitt in your Walthamstow Branch. He has always been a very efficient, friendly and helpful gentleman on any occasion I have had to contact him and I would like to thank him for all of his help for the last several years. I recently put my property up for rental and have to commend one person in particular. Jade has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Renting my property was stressful and emotional but Jade managed to help me navigate that by being friendly, helpful and most of all with great communication. No question was too small for her and if it wasn't something she could control/ crossed over into other departments like finance or management, she found out and made sure she responded to me in a timely fashion.I suspect Jade has a lot of rentals to sort out and get to a point where they are taken over by a property manager but she never made me feel that I wasn't important and a valued client. Jade is an asset to Portico and could teach others in the team how to deliver excellent client service. I couldn't recommend Jade more!
