Portico staff has been rude and totally unprofessional. One of their staff members just hung up on us! We have been dealing with them ever since we left our rental. They do house checks, weeks after you left the property and with no one present( no witness) and hold your deposit for reasons that take months to justify, as we are not in the property any longer! Rude staff- Incompetent management- Unethical business in general, particularly when staff takes the rude liberty to hang up on you !!!!!!! DO NOT WORK WITH PORTICO _

TrustpilotPortico are terrible and rude. immoral and unethical and go to all lengths to find ways to extract money from landlords even when you are not in the contract with them.
Portico are terrible and rude! They do not explain their processes deliberately so they can add extortionate prices on top of what has been agreed and threaten with legal action and court. They sneakily phone tenants although you are no longer in a contract with them which is very unethical and morally wrong so they can see if the tenant is still there so they can sneakily charge you finders fee although the contract has ended. They will then threaten you with court unless you pay them all this money. They have immoral and unethical and go to all lengths to find ways to extract money from landlords even when you are not in the contract with them.

Very negative experience with one of Portico's driver's (male) road rage physically threatening me (small female) with his car whilst I was trapped in a cul de sac trying to park. He then proceeded to call me a ******, hand gestures etc. Was very upsetting.Upset but understand that these things happen, I was more disappointed by Portico's response after I reported the incident to them. I hoped they would have a word with the driver so no one else would suffer similar but was met with only lip service.

Portico have consistently ignored my calls and emails when trying to enquire into multiple different flats around east London, I’ve left many voicemails and continue to be ignored and not called back despite the singular time I actually got through to a real person I was told I’d be called back later that day with details to arrange a viewing. Writing this review in the hope they see it and sort it out

Brilliant and highly recommended!!Having had many bad experiences with many Estate Agents, therefore I admittedly went into this process with my guard up and I had very low expectations. However Bilal, Daniel, Alannah and the Portico team have been amazing from start to finish.Throughout this process they have been fast and responsive to any query that we had but also to my frequent requested changes.They enabled me to achieve a higher price than I anticipated and exceed the ceiling price of the street.I had a number of unscrupulous local Estate agents telling me that Portico had called it wrong however the house sale went through seamlessly and we could not have been happier.If you are considering a sale in the area I would recommend using Bilal, Daniel and Alannah before anyone else locally, noting that I still have a few rentals in the area and have thus experienced many of the others poor level of customer service.

I rented a property for a number of years through the Walthamstow office and then eventually sold. Sean Hewitt dealt with both the rental and selling and I can thoroughly recommend him and his team for always being most helpful friendly and very efficient. He was always at the end of the phone if needed and dealt with any queries I may have had straight away. He also recommended a good solicitor for the sale. Highly recommended branch of portico

GoogleExtremely negative experience as a tenant, avoid. No respect for privacy, and impossible to get hold of when you need something, but you get harassed when they want to do viewings. Holly Pearson in particular was rude and unhelpful. Took 4 months to get our deposit back, they just ignored our emails until we used TDS to get it back

Appalling. It has taken us over month to get out deposit back despite approval from our landlord. Disgusting, greedy and incompetent. Give us back the deposit we are rightfully owed.
