TrustpilotFriendly and professional
We needed some work to be done in our rented house recently and our property manager Simona took the ownership of the issue and arranged everything very efficiently. She kept me informed throughout the work and arranged the handyman visits accordingly. The handyman was also very friendly and professional who completed the work to the required standards and left the area clean and tidy. Highly recommend

TrustpilotExcellent Agent Experience
My friend and I had a wonderful agent we worked with while trying to find a flat to rent. Jade really took her time to show the flat in detail and answered all of our questions quickly. When the time comes again to find a property to rent, we will reach out to Portico and specifically Jade. Big thanks to her for such a pleasant experience!

GoogleThe flat that we initially asked to view was rented before we had chance to view. Sian took the time to find a perfect flat for us and made accommodations for a last minute viewing. Communication throughout the whole process was clear, fast and everything answered promptly! We felt reassured and informed throughout - Sian and portico was fab!

TrustpilotUseless Agents
Just called Portico Ilford to find out about a property and the agent was so rude to even give information about the property. Either he was drunk or unaware about his job.

Mr Khan, many thanks for your comment. We are sorry to hear from you under this circumstance and to learn that you do not feel that your experience with Portico was a positive one. We would welcome a return call, and would be pleased to discuss your requirements with you in detail. In the event that we’ve property available across any of our offices which meets your search criteria, we’d love to arrange a viewing, too.

TrustpilotAwful for tenant and landlord.
An awful experience as a tenant of a property managed by Portico, but also awful for the landlord as well who decided to leave them. Just constantly not sorting out issues for weeks on end to the point that our landlord just ended up doing it himself, but a hideous amount of paperwork for us all to do each year and they try to drain you of any penny possible. Terrible company.

TrustpilotDishonest marketing
Came home from work one evening to find out that Portico put a “sold” sign outside our house without our consent and having never interacted with the company. We’ve reached out twice via phone to ask them to come pick it up and we keep being dismissed. Reading the reviews I’m glad we bought from another agent.

TrustpilotGreat Estate Agents all round
Great EA, very professional and caring. Chris at Chigwell Portico, in particular who shows great professionalism so early being in a career. Unlike most agents they are not pushy and appreciate that selling chains break, and as a result selling and buying can take longer than usual. I would ignore any negative comments purely on the basis factual clarity would be lacking.
