Greatly recommended. We’ve been a tenant for 4 years and have been very happy with Peter Woods. From Adam who has been very helpful from viewing until moving in, Thiago and Iveth doing great jobs as property managers and Peter himself who’s been very great. From start to end of tenancy, everything has been smooth. When issues are reported, we never had to worry because they are very quick in resolving it and we are very confident even when it’s the weekend or a busy season, issues are resolved quickly as possible. Our landlord has been very patient and great as well. They are proactive in every time they do property visits even in things they think needs repairing or replacing, they will have replaced or repaired and won’t wait for it to be reported or cause issues. Peter Woods has by far been the best letting agency for us and we are very grateful for the years we’ve been with them.

Let me be clear: I’m not just another tenant complaining about a draft. I’m a qualified architect, and I’ve spent my entire career in housing projects from design to delivery. I build them, I fix them, and I know when something is wrong. So when I tell you this house is structurally flawed, bleeding heat through a massive underfloor gap, not compliant with fire regulations and costing me over £200/month during winter just to stay semi-warm. And what does Peter Woods, the so-called “agent,” do with that information? He brushes it off like a man who’s never held a spirit level or read a building regulation in his life. The arrogance. The dismissiveness. The textbook behavior of someone who doesn’t know his U-values from his ego. Peter, here’s the truth: You know nothing about housing. You’re out of your depth talking to professionals. You don’t “manage property.” You babysit crumbling boxes and pass the buck when they fall apart. You met the wrong person to patronise, I don’t play tenant; I crush with professionalism. You bring excuses. I bring technical reports, thermal maps, and years of built reality. This place is a joke, and you’re the punchline.

Adam is a real expert when it comes to the property market, he understands what is available as well as the clients requirements then ensures a perfect match. It is very difficult to find the right place, I had so many requirements and kept looking for months. I moved a lot in the UK and I lived in London, Cambridge, Bristol and Bath. During that time I had dealt with several private landlords and agencies and I developed a mixed feeling and dreaded every subsequent move. With Peter Woods that has changed. The Peter Woods agent, Carla Skilbeck was very professional and responded to our queries promptly. She helped us move to be easy and fast. After we moved into our current property we required two fixes which were dealt with almost immediately through their modern reporting system. To sum up, I would recommend Peter Woods and I hope they keep up the good work.

My partner and I decided to move just over 2 months ago and Peterwoods were by far the most professional, down to earth and coherent agency we've ever used. Carla, our agent, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She constantly updated us when new properties came to the market, she agreed to show us properties at last minute/outside of business hours, and thanks to her, we were the first couple to view our new home and succeed with our offer and application. I can't recommend Carla and Peterwoods enough, their rates are exceptionally fair, they're so incredibly helpful and the communication across the board between them, ourselves and our landlord has been excellent

Terrible experience with Peter Woods Lettings. Would give zero stars if possible. Lived in a property for nearly two years, with constant damp and nothing done about it. When we moved in, a number of issues were raised and none sorted, aside from a lick of paint. Both mine and my partners asthma was made much worse living in this property. They even very pettily raised our rent, after we'd told them we were moving out of the property. They seem to think your deposit belongs to them, as they attempted to charge us for a number of things including clearing the garden, which wasn't done before we moved in and to clean the property again, even though this had been. To make it worse, they are decorating the flat, so effectively tried to charge us to cover there own cleaning costs post decorating. Cowboy practise and typical for London estate agents. Avoid like the plague.

Awful service. Initially the house we moved into was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an end of tenancy standard by the previous tenants. It took a few months of back and forth for them to finally get an appropriate cleaning team in to do an acceptable job. We’ve since been sending them emails on a weekly basis regarding damp in our house which was present when we first moved in. My housemate has asthma and the damp severely affects this, but Peter Woods haven’t done a single thing about it in 6 months. They dodge our emails and just keep us waiting - as is typical with all estate agents once they have your deposit/monthly payments. I would strongly advise against using them as an agent because they seem to be inept at sorting the most important of things like fixing the electrics (we had lights flickering throughout the entire house for months)
