GooglePeter Barry, Chartered Surveyors are sending unsolicited mail to neighbouring properties of houses who have submitted a planning application to have work done under the 'Party Wall Act'. The contents of this letter can appear worrying to the neighbouring house owner. I wish that this way of gaining possible customers should not be allowed by law.

GoogleHad dealings with Bulent Akay of this agency who laughably calls himself a Lettings Manger. Don't know about the agency but Bulent is a disgrace to the profession.

GoogleI recently used the lettings service of Peter Barry in Winchmore Hill and cannot praise them enough for their great service. From the very first appointment, they were always very punctual, very clear in all communications (whether by phone or email), and ever so helpful in answering all of my queries.... and believe me I had quite a few. However, they were always very patient and extremely thorough and professional in all of our dealings. Whilst I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the team at Peter Barry (there are always many unseen people behind the scenes, helping to keep things moving along smoothly), I would like to express particular praise to Theo, Bulent and Elizabeth for looking after me so well. Thank you kindly for the great service.

GoogleA decent service. Turned up for all viewings.Found one serious buyer.Very little contact after memorandum of sale issued. If they are acting as liaison between buyer and seller they might give more frequent and accurate updates.We thought all was going smoothly as there was no contact , but there were delays which led to us loosing our forward purchase . Would recommend but clarify what service you want after initial sale agreed.

Unfortunately, when dealing with new build homes, the builders are often impatient for a sale to complete which was the case here. However, from the offer being received on your property to exchange our record show that it took 10 weeks which is fairly quick compared to the usual 3 months a typical sale can take. GoogleA total waste of time trying to let a property with this bunch of turkeys. They don't appear to be in communication with one another. The property is available, according to one agent; the second agent does not know; and the third agent informs you that it is no longer available. The property is then placed back on the market. Absolute Shambles! They also never get back to to you. You will be the one who must call them repeatedly, and good luck trying to get them to pick up the phone at all. Do they think I have nothing better to do with my life than run around on a wild goose chase?
