If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. From start to finish, this agency made our lives unnecessarily miserable. On the very first day, we spent hours waiting for the keys while the office was mysteriously “closed” and no one could be reached. When we finally entered, what was promised as a “professionally cleaned” apartment was so filthy that we had to book a hotel just to scrub it ourselves. Thank you for that unforgettable welcome. Throughout our stay, they were occasionally responsive but always with a side of rudeness and a masterclass in unprofessional impoliteness. Sure, some issues weren’t their fault, but the sheer disgrace with which they were handled makes you wonder if customer service was ever taught in their office. Toilet removed during the first month, a kitchen handle that went unrepaired for two years, a fire curtain in the living room… As three university students, it was an absolute nightmare, causing us to miss countless classes. And the cherry on top? They deducted a third of our deposit for damages that were already there when we arrived. Special shoutout to Lewis for setting a new standard of unprofessionalism. I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid this agency like the plague. If misery were a service, this team would be award winning.

Very surprised to see so many positive comments. To keep it brief, while the agents were easy to contact, they were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout our tenancy. We were blamed for issues that were clearly not our responsibility, and there was no willingness to discuss or negotiate fairly regarding the deposit. After two years of dealing with them, I’m simply relieved to have moved out and no longer have to interact with this agency. I’m not interested in any justification, I’ve seen how negative reviews are often met with defensive, dismissive replies, which unfortunately reflects Lewis’s unprofessional attitude throughout our experience.

After two years with this agency, I can honestly say the experience was exhausting. From the very beginning, things went wrong, we didn’t even receive the keys on the agreed move-in day, and the apartment was far from ready or functional. Throughout our tenancy, there were constant plumbing problems and other maintenance issues that we ended up being charged for in the deposit, despite them being clear pre-existing defects. Every attempt to discuss things fairly was met with rudeness or complete dismissal, as if basic communication and accountability were too much to ask. By the end, we were unfairly blamed for damages that were already there long before we moved in. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and fairness was shocking. I’m simply relieved to no longer have to deal with this agency, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values honesty or respect.

Super customer service, fantastic flat. We were so happy to find Lotti and Lewis and Onslows, after months of flat searching and being let down by larger estate agents we approached Onslows for information regarding a property they listed. They came back to us promptly with answers to all of our questions and had actually checked directly with the landlord! (Rather than other companies that seem to tell you anything just to get your deposit!) Signing was easy and fees were competitive and well deserved. We have renewed with them again, can’t recommend them enough!

Surprised to see the overwhelmingly positive reviews - I guess it depends on the people you meet. We had to deal with Hannan. We called 1 day after a posting was up. First we were told the key was not ready, so agreed an appointment on the next day which was a Sunday (so far the experience was great and I was surprised that they even catered for Sunday viewings as we don’t live close by). Then it went downhill - got messaged and said actually Sunday viewings were not allowed and booked the following weekend, to which he said it’s a bank holiday weekend, and they are closed on Saturday. Ok, well, managed to agree the weekend after. A couple of days later, got messaged again and said it’s their employee training day so not possible and he pushed back to another week after. We said we have our personal engagement that morning so tried to find a common ground on time, but he refused and tried to impose us a time that works for them. So after being rescheduled 3 times, we gave up!! I guess it’s just not for us. He said he’s a new employee so doesn’t know all the rules, but maybe employee training with some respect of clients would be a good start!

It was a pleasure renting an apartment in London via Onslows.
