GoogleNot Recommended, Misleading, Poor Service, and Health Concerns
I do not recommend Alice at NPV Letting. New tenants should be cautious, as our experience revealed a pattern of misrepresentation, lack of service, and serious health concerns. Here are the specific issues we encountered:
Many appliances in the flat were not functioning properly, despite being advertised as exceptional. The property was not steam cleaned as promised before move-in, and repairs (such as broken blinds) were never addressed despite in the contract.
We discovered rats in the property and our children have been consistently unwell during our time in the flat. When we raised this with the agent, they dismissed it as “normal,” which is unacceptable and shocking.
Tenants should be prepared for unresolved issues and dismissive responses to legitimate concerns. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Alice at this letting agent.

NVP do not manage the property which you rented and cannot be held liable for minor maintenance matters, none of which give cause for the actions you have taken. Given the slanderous nature of both yours and your husbands reviews and the lack of credibility in the claims within them we believe it is best that further correspondence be undertaken by legal professionals.

It’s a small company with a very personal approach, and there is no constant staff turnover, which makes a big difference. Kerry and Jenny are always prompt, professional, and very easy to deal with.

GooglePre-tenancy checks could be better, deposit still unresolved
I’m not entirely happy with how NVP handled the pre-tenancy checks. Before we moved in, we were told the property would be steam-cleaned and certain repairs done (also in contract), but none of those was done. This could be landlord’s problem but I expect agent to follow up with landlord or make sure those are done before tenancy starts. I’m still looking at deposit issue and will update.

Mr Liu, As per my previous direct correspondence with you, the Deposit is protected in a Bank Client Account which means it remains protected until the Landlord and yourself reach a settlement. It can be held for six years under the Limitation Act 1980 if necessary. We cannot release a deposit that is under dispute to either party. You have previously removed one of your reviews which contained false information about the deposit and how it is handled, this review is also wholly incorrect.
UPDATE: The Landlord and Tenant were able to reach an agreement over the deposit. Upon advising NVP of this the apportioned deposit was transferred immediately to each party.
