1 Star is Too Generous

I regret to say that my experience with Marsh and Parsons has been overwhelmingly disappointing. From start to finish, the service provided was subpar, riddled with miscommunications, delays, and a lack of professionalism.For over 8 months, I have been dealing with severe damp issues in my building, which have significantly worsened my asthma. Despite numerous complaints, Marsh and Parsons have consistently avoided addressing the problem. I had to escalate the issue to the council, who confirmed the presence of damp, yet the agency still failed to take any corrective action.In my frustration, I decided to leave the property due to the ongoing health risks posed by the mould and damp. However, the agency then demanded I pay the entire percentage they charge the landlord, as stated in the contract, a percentage which I was never informed of in my contract. Despite the exorbitant fee, I chose to proceed and signed a new contract elsewhere, prioritizing my health.To my utter dismay, when I asked for the amount, they gave me a number, and then literally a few minutes later, they said, "Oh sorry, the amount is for the total remaining term of the contract." By this point, I had already paid a deposit somewhere else. This level of unprofessionalism and deceit is appalling. They have shown a complete disregard for my health and have engaged in what I can only describe as exploitative practices.I strongly advise anyone considering Marsh and Parsons to think twice. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and unethical behavior have made this experience nothing short of a nightmare. 1 star is indeed too generous for the service I received.

I absolutely cannot fault Marsh and Parsons in the sale of our Brixton flat. Jack Whiley and Harry James were really professional, always exceptionally responsive, gave great advice and went above and beyond to ensure we got the sale over the line, despite some challenging circumstances. The listing was really nicely produced with photos that showed the flat at its best and Jack and Harry were really good at advising us on what we needed to do in order to give ourselves the best chance of completing quickly. My partner and I would gladly work with them both again if we ever had the need!

Since appointing Marsh & Parsons to manage the tenancy of my rental property 2 ½ years ago, I have been designated a few different representatives who have on the whole been helpful in dealing with tenant issues and keeping me up to date.My 5-star rating relates to the first-rate service of the most recently appointed manager. They quickly acquired a good background knowledge, have been prepared to research/investigate as issues have arisen, and have an attention to detail that inspires confidence.Courteous, friendly and understanding, and quick to respond to queries and with updates. Turning around a poor client relationship with M&P

We have been working with M&P as our rental agent for almost 2 years. For the majority of this time, our experience was not positive - lot of reasons but overall, not good! However, since Elisabeth Ppasa has taken over as the focal point with M&P managing our property, the service we are getting has turned around completely. Elisabeth inherited an angry client and has worked diligently to turn this around. And to her credit, she has done this. Of course, we hope the service levels we currently enjoy continues, but as of today, credit clearly goes to Elisabeth.To follow on from your reply @ Ms Lesley, Customer Relations Team; whilst Elisabeth has indeed done a good job - and continues to do so - I think there are learnings for M&P management here as we were very close to looking for alternative managing agents...

Marsh & Parsons dreadful misrepresentation

Marsh and Parsons, Church Street, Kensington Church Street. Appalling and does nothing to enhance the reputation of estate agents.About the worst case of misrepresentation possible. I very recently asked M & P to market a property for me. I received a proposal for the property description to approve which seemed odd as it mentioned the place needed updating (just redecorated internally and externally, new carpets etc etc). I replied to the email, correcting the errors. No reply. Several days later I again asked if the changes had been made: a so called area manager emailed stating "the online details were being updated..and the these will appear online in a few hours" - clearly showing my email had been ignored and the property marketed without my knowledge or consent re the details.I asked to be emailed the link, when I opened it, the photographs were from years ago (no idea where from) - bearing no resemblance to the property currently - which would completely confuse a viewer - and the floor plan had major omissions and errors. All this was being advertised without my knowledge or consent. Rather than investigate and correct matters Parys Krobo (in this matter, a clearly over promoted area manager, which speaks volumes) took the property off the market, rather than correct matters and take responsibility for the mess). The most unprofessional and dodgy marketing of a property I have ever witnessed. Avoid this firm at all costs. Even their reply dodges their unprofessional methods.
