I bought my flat through LivingInLondon. Although the purchase went pretty smoothly, I was still convinced that it is better to choose a bigger agent as I thought that through their bigger network of clients, this will help me sell the flat faster and will offset the higher fees. After two failed attempts, I needed a change and went back to LivingInLondon. At this stage, I was quite disheartened so I was amazed how quickly and stress-free LivingInLondon sold my flat and that not “all real estate agents are the same” as one of my friends explained to me. As a result, I would like to recommend George, Elizabeth and the team.

Living in London estate agents were great to work with. I viewed flats with Jacob who was super helpful and flexible, as well as patient with all my questions. Megan helped me throughout the process of putting in an offer to the landlord, up till actually getting the keys and moving into the flat. Megan was extremely knowledgable and responsive on email, and would give detailed answers to my (numerous) questions - this really helped me feel more comfortable about the entire process. Overall, the team made this experience smoother than I expected!

Living in London has been our agency for the past 3 years. Megan and Tracy have been always super helpful with anything we needed, very easy to communicate and even fixing any problem in the house the same day, Their speed in communication was incredible, as soon as we had an issue with the boiler, somoene came to fix it the same day or a couple of days after. I want to also highlight their patience during the last few weeks, they understood our special situation where our home purchase was at risk, and offer flexibility so that we could avoid worrying about our lease. The rent increases were also very reasonable in comparison to what we were seing in the market, which was helpful and progressive as our salaries. Our experience with this estate agent was rather frustrating . After viewing and putting in an offer for one of their properties, we were repeatedly told that we would receive updates “by the end of the day,” but these promises were consistently broken. We ended up chasing them for two weeks with no clear answers. On multiple occasions when agents were unavailable, we were told we'd receive a call back, but no one ever followed up. Eventually, after constant chasing, we were casually informed that the property had already gone. Shockingly, they admitted that the email meant to inform us had been left sitting in drafts and never sent. We were then told that the landlord only ever wanted two tenants, despite the fact that we had been completely transparent from the beginning that we were a group of three. This information would have been appreciated before the viewing process to save both the agents, and our time and money. For a letting agent in London, where time and clarity are crucial, this kind of communication breakdown and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. If you value your time and expect even the most basic transparency, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

From beginning to end Living in London was an efficient, friendly, and flexible company to work with. We viewed our apartment with Alex, who was very informative and friendly, willing to get us all the information we needed. He also squeezed us into his schedule when we wanted to take measurements of the space before moving in. Once we signed the lease, Megan and her team were always available for any questions we had, usually replying within 24hours of any emails. When we decided to leave London, the estate agent (Ari) was respectful and prompt about letting us know about any viewings. Finally, our checkout was made incredibly easy as Megan worked around what worked for us! Thanks to the whole team! I was a tenant for an apartment rented through this agency for 2 years. The relationship was always very good with our landlord. However, When we were going to leave the flat the agency recommended us a key inventory company and someone call Subhash came to do it. As I was tenant I had to be there until he finished to give him the keys and leave the property. Eventually I found out that this guy called Subhash told to my landlord that I was trying to convince him to lie on his report on my favour in order to avoid any amount deducted from our deposit. I felt so embarrassed and I didn't understand why he lied and created that conflict. Is a good agency but it's a shame that this detail totally changed my perception of the agency and they recommend him. Please try to avoid him if you are a tenant!
