GoogleLinus was the sellers’ agent as we purchased our first property. Linus and Lucy were incredibly helpful, ensuring all necessary documents were in order. Thanks to their diligence, we completed the exchange just in time to avoid the stamp duty increase. We couldn’t have asked for better support during this important milestone!

GoogleAfter meeting with a number of agents, we chose Linus Jackson based on friends’ recommendations as well as our own first impressions. Linus doesn’t come across as an estate agent, and I mean that in the best of ways. He’s warm, personable and applied no pressure on us to choose him. His manner was a breath of fresh air. He had excellent instincts for price, and said our home would go for much higher than the other agents quoted, and he was spot on. He really understands North East London. We loved his photography, and we are very picky (thank you, Linus!) Lucy, his assistant, was always on hand and incredibly helpful. Linus expertly steered things to a perfect solution for all parties. We would highly recommend him and would definitely work with him again.

GoogleWe sold our 1 bed flat with Linus and were very impressed from start to finish. Linus is knowledgeable and supportive, a breath of fresh air in an industry that can be frustrating. The viewings were very well organised and conducted, and the offer process was handled professionally and transparently. Linus was even available to give us advice when it came to buying our next flat via a different agent. Highly recommended.

GoogleAs a first-time buyer, Linus was a great source of help and knowledge throughout the process; he provided lots of insight and support to keep things moving. Always friendly, and very knowledgable on all aspects of the flat that I purchased. Towards the latter stages he provided lots of support, which really helped me to hit my purchase deadline.

GoogleMy partner and I had a concerning experience with this business. Their apparent inexperience, poor customer care and aggressive negotiation tactics significantly increased the gazumping risk beyond our acceptable thresholds. Due to what we perceived as unprofessional conduct and inefficient use of our time, we decided not to pursuing future business opportunities with them and pulled out our offer for the property they were selling.

GoogleHighly recommended. We feel extremely lucky to have bought our first home via Linus Jackson & Co. Linus provided the utmost care and attention, taking the time to help us find a new mortgage broker at a critical phase and also helping with ensuring solicitors got things done in a timely manner. Great levels of communication, friendly and professional. If we ever require an estate agent in the future we will be calling Linus.

GoogleIn world where you can't always trust that your estate agent has your best interests at heart, working with Linus was like a breath of fresh air. He's trustworthy, approachable and honest at all times. For reasons that were out of his control, aspects of our deal were tricky, and Linus gave great advice and support throughout the process. We'd definitely work with him again.

GoogleLinus was the sole agent in the sale of our four-bed house in Finchley, and was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. With most estate agents, especially in London, you get the feeling that you’re pretty low down on their list of priorities. All they really want to do is get you off their books as quickly as possible, so they can move on to the next sale. You never really know who you or your buyers are going to be dealing with, and the level of service you get is often poor. With Linus it’s a completely different experience. You deal with him and only him. He shows all your buyers around, and he’s always on the end of the phone if you or the people trying to buy your house need to speak to him. He gets to know the ins and outs of your house in detail, which means he’s perfectly placed to sell it. Plus he’s friendly, approachable and, a real rarity, has integrity and belief in doing things the right way! We couldn’t have been happier with the way he handled our sale. He helped us achieve the price we wanted and was a constant source of advice and reassurance throughout the process, helping us to navigate tricky negotiations and iron out pernickety solicitor queries. Plus, when our initial sale fell through due to the chain collapsing, Linus went straight back over old contacts and got us a new buyer within days. Overall, I can’t recommend Linus enough to anyone who is looking to sell their property and is looking to deal with someone who offers a level of service that the vast majority of high street agents simply can’t

GoogleI bought a property via Linus in 2022 and had an excellent experience, so went straight back to him when we decided to sell. Once again, he was brilliant throughout. Super transparent, easy going and no bullshit. I felt as a buyer and a vendor that he always had my best interests. Highly recommended!

Excellent service throughout and handled the whole process with great care. I had bad experiences with chain of estate agents so Linus’s personal , genuine and efficient approach was very valuable. I felt very confident to have Linus sell my flat and was impressed that he got a buyer quickly and got it to completion.

GoogleAs first time renters Linus tried to take advantage of fact we are young and presumably naive. He added extra costs which where not necessary and said he had paid for a cleaner for the flat which was clearly a lie. Looking back now I can see he knew exactly how to manipulate situation to his benefit, unfortunately we were first time renters so we're not aware that this happens - a good life lesson though !
Hi Rebecca, I’m extremely sorry if you feel you did not receive a good service. We work hard to ensure all our clients are happy whether they are young or old. The house was professionally cleaned. I do agree with you that they did not do the job up to the required standard. You highlighted areas that had been missed (bin, oven, freezer, bathroom extractor fan) and we sent a different cleaner in ASAP. If the unnecessary fee you are referring to was the inventory charge, some landlords request an inventory and some do not. It is standard practice across many agencies to charge the tenants on the way in and the landlords on the way out. I can understand that £90 is an unwanted cost when moving, but this does does secure any disputes regarding your deposit which you got back in full. All our fees are clearly outlined on our website, therefore you can see that you paid no more than anyone else. Kind Regards, Linus Jackson

GoogleI was recommended Linus by a friend after bad experiences with pushy estate agents. In stark contrast to my previous experiences, Linus is friendly, genuine, efficient and professional. I felt very confident to have Linus sell my flat and was impressed by the wonderful photos that were taken and that he secured viewings and a buyer within days. He certainly knows his stuff. Throughout the stressful process of selling, Linus has been on hand to calmly answer all queries and negotiate through any bumps in the road as well as let in various surveyors when I was away. Would definitely recommend to others.

GoogleLinus recently helped me sell my flat in Walthamstow, and he also manages a rental property for a close family member. The service Linus provides is second to none - he is very professional, calm and assured in all of his dealings. He is also very diligent and hardworking. However, what I like most about Linus (having met him when he was selling a property that I wanted to buy) is that he is very respectful with all parties to a transaction, not just his own client. I wouldn't dream of using another agent in Walthamstow.

It was lovely being able to contact you by WhatsApp whenever I needed to, knowing that you would reply promptly and do whatever you could to move the process along. Your advice before we renovated and marketed the property turned out to be ‘on the ball’ and we took on board everything (where possible) that we could, hoping it would make the flat attractive and saleable (which it was). GoogleLinus is an excellent estate agent. He has fantastic knowledge about the market in general and knows how best to market a property. He organised excellent quality photos a packed viewings day and helped negotiate the best outcome. Our sale was by no means straight forward but Linus was always on hand to talk things through and offer expert advice. We have no qualms recommending Linus, we know a lot of friends in the Eat London area who have also used him and regard him highly. Linus - everything he touches turns to sold!

GoogleI can say without hesitation that Linus is the best estate agent I've ever hired. He is professional, effective, persevering, clever, reliable, diligent, calm and an exceptional communicator, many human qualities that I haven't often seen in people in his profession. Due to some exceptional circumstances, our completion process was quite drawn out and he never wavered in concentration, liaising between all the parties and keeping the whole process on track to signature. Just as important as finding a buyer is getting the process to the end and it simply would not have happened without him.
