GoogleExtremely disappointing experience with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH).
From the start of the tenancy, there were serious maintenance issues including a faulty toilet flush, heating problems, and a non-working intercom. These were reported immediately, yet it took an unreasonable amount of time to resolve them. Living for weeks with basic facilities not working properly was unacceptable.
Throughout the tenancy and particularly during the move-out process, it felt like KFH consistently supported the landlord rather than acting fairly or neutrally. Despite prior agreements regarding notice and move-out dates, I was later accused of “overstaying,” which was completely inaccurate and caused unnecessary stress.
Phone communication was often rude and dismissive, and there were unofficial visits/communications that felt unprofessional.
The deposit process had to go through a formal dispute. I ultimately won the dispute, which clearly shows the initial deductions were not justified. This could have been avoided with fair and transparent handling from the beginning.
Overall, biased approach, poor maintenance management, unprofessional communication, and a very stressful experience. I would not recommend.
The 1 star is for the sales team. The sales team was quite professional and never had any troubles from them while the property was on the market.

Complete repaint from top to bottom and creating 3 new rooms. Zak Sawalha heading the team got an offer in 3 weeks marvellous when market is volatile and is dropping .
