Really bad when it comes to services. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 2 months. Always some lame excuse for not paying back. There is an property manager named Moesha, who will never address any query but will just be harsh I hope to give below 1 star but that the least i can go.

Claire has been excellent in helping us find a rental properly from abroad. She was super flexible with our requirements and timing and always kept us in the loop once we found the property. She did an extra video viewing and asked many questions to current tenants on our behalf. I would highly recommend Claire and her team and if were to rent again would definitely use them!

I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleI arrived in London on the 13rd of January, looking for an apartment..and after meeting Tania from John D Wood, I had my great 1-bed flat in Chelsea by the following week! We had a brief chat, and she swiftly found the right apartment for my needs. Tania was extremely kind, always replied to my phone calls or text even late in the afternoon, and she helped me also on a saturday when she should have been on leave.. Her support was crucial in obtaining the contract, and I will always be grateful to her for her warm and gentle assistance. Absolutely recommended.

GoogleI had just arrived in London, and was looking at many apartments. Tania, who assisted me in finding an apartment was super helpful. She showed me options of the specifications I gave her, which was very efficient and avoided loosing my time, as opposing to other agencies who shoed me lots of bad places. She was so efficient that I found what I was looking for much before I imagined, which was amazing. She helped me with tips in what to do as a 1st comer and the process after that was very smooth. Magdalena was also very helpful in the conclusion process. Thank you Tania for the wonderful experience.

GoogleThe help I received from Sally and Magdelena has been thoroughly professional, organized and personable. They were most helpful in advising me on what to say in my application to the landlord of the flat I was most keen on, and I was approved for the tenancy! When I finally met Sally in person (I was applying from overseas), she could not have been a nicer or friendlier person. I highly recommend this office, as I had a marvelous experience, and will be moving into the perfect flat shortly!

GoogleUnfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Lisa Knight, Head of Sales in the Beckenham branch posted a letter to me dated the 17th February. It said, “If you would like to arrange a no-obligation market appraisal, please do not hesitate to get in touch..” I rang the office and made an appointment for the 7th of March. I was clear that I was not putting the house on the market right now.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative.Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!

GoogleI totally recommend the team at John D Wood in Kensington. Over the past few months, I had to work out what to do with my father's flat as he has now moved to a care home. The situation wasn't straightforward as so many angles had to be considered, including sale, rental and extension of leases. This means I had dealings with various departments at JDW, and to a man, they were fantastic. They were highly experienced and knowledgeable, realistic, level-headed, courteous and just great to deal with. In the end, I sold my father's flat and there's no question that the flurry of attention the flat achieved and the resulting good price, was down to the professionalism and platform that JDW offers.

GoogleTo sell a flat at any time is stressful. To sell a flat during the pandemic, an unprecedented recession and while I was unable to leave Sydney because of an international travel ban, is completely nerve-wracking. However, Benjamin-Thomas Ross and all at John D Wood managed to do just this and keep me calm from the other side of the world - no mean feat. The entire process, from viewings to exchange, was faultless. I was kept informed at all times about viewings and offers. My questions were answered promptly and honestly. So - I unequivocally recommend this agency in general and Ben in particular.

Sardar swiftly arranged a viewing for me and he and Camilla were fantastic pushing things through so I could have a move in date within a week. Exceptional, especially with the move in date being 2 days before Christmas.Highly recommended!

As a tenant who has had John D Wood as my lettings management for the last 6 years I can say that they are absolutely awful. They don't reply to emails, don't take responsibility, don't put out of office emails on so you can't get anything urgent done. I would never use them.
