A really good experience from start to finish from the whole team. Ben was able to squeeze us in for 2 flat viewings at very short notice and managed to have the whole process from viewing to offer agreed in less than a day. Jess was friendly and efficient when sorting our right to rent checks and handover of the keys, both on weekends. Inga has provided us with updates on our tenancy throughout the process and has answered all questions helpfully and promptly. All of this made the moving process much less stressful and the level of personal service offered was much appreciated compared to other agents used previously. We would highly recommend to anyone.

I have just bought my first home and thanks to Ben at James Hayes, it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable process. I had already had a “bad” experience with a more commercial firm of estate agents and had felt like just another buyer. Ben made me feel at ease and made it clear that he had both my interests and the vendor’s interests at heart. He was knowledgable about the property and the area but if he wasn’t sure on something, would find out and get back to me quickly, which is so important for me, as I hate having to wait days for a response. As a nurse, shift work makes viewing a property and getting everything together a little bit harder, but Ben was very understanding and flexible throughout and made it clear he’d try and help with things where possible to lighten my load. I would highly recommend Ben and the firm in general if you’re looking for a property in the area and while I’m hoping my first home will be my forever home, if I was looking to sell and move on, he’d be the first person I contacted.

Ben came to value our property when we were deciding between selling our first flat or keeping it and get rental income from it. We had some high street estate agents that provided grand estimates but Ben was the only one that not only was realistic but also provided some helpful advice. We took quite some time to make a decision but were never pestered with calls for updates. When the time came for us to get our flat we knew exactly who to call. I live and work in Canada. My rental property was transitioned to James Hayes when they bought the business during the pandemic. The transition from former property company was seamless. In addition to change of management company, I had a new freeholder who did extensive freeholder renovations followed by a complete inside rennovation inside my property that I did with almost everything upgraded. Ben and Inga project managed the three big changeovers, on a different time zone, with remote owner and trades to pay. The entire project was so professionally managed, transparent communication and attention to detail like I have never seen. Lastly they found me the best new tenants. Everyone is happy all round. Ive never met them so the entire relationship has been virtual. I highly recommend James Hayes and would be very happy to recommend them to anyone who needs a stellar property management firm.
