Working with Hunters has been a great experience. My agent, Alex, really knew his stuff and had put in a lot of preparation before even arriving for a valuation. The process of marketing my flat was really quick and efficient and the photographs were excellent. I felt that Alex gave me great advice when it came to offer stage, and has always been readily available to answer any questions along the way.

As a Landlord, I have used Hunter services and they are one of the worst Letting agents that I have ever used. They are incompetent and will say one thing to you and say another thing to the Tenant and the tenancies have been a complete mess with this agency, I cannot Recommend them at all, they are absolutely atrocious and I would go to any other agency than this one. Also the rent they paid me was always late and they always made excuses about it. The manager of the branch is incompetent and lazy and does not care if you have any complaints or the level of service that they provide. I strongly recommend all landlords to stay away from this agency, and if you rent through them, you should know that they will not look after you or carry out any repairs because they don’t bother to even tell the Landlord. These people should be struck off and should not be allowed to rent properties as all they are after is the commission.

Greatly appreiated the support from Alex and Abbie at Hunters. Abbie co-ordinated a number of house/garden clearance and remedial work taking so much time and pressure off me and getting the house ready for sale. Alex and the Hunters sales team very professionally managed the marketing, a great many viewings, and an encouraging number of offers which led to the successful sale. Having recently been throuhg a similar process with another property away from London this experience was so superior and supportive.

We chose Hunters to sell our property due their knowledge, track record and for being super responsive. Their straightforward attitude was an additional appeal without the pushiness experienced with other agents. To top it, they found an excellent buyer who completed within two months of putting their asking price offer forward for a property, which some would argue isn’t in the most straightforward of locations. We had a great experience working with Hunters, in particular Alex Christodoulou who managed the sale of our house. I first contacted Hunters after a negative experience with another estate agent and upon meeting Alex was confident that he’d be able to sell our house for the price that we were looking for, which he did, despite all of the implications of Covid. Alex was very accessible, easy to reach and even initially listed our house on Rightmove from home on a Sunday as I’d happened to email him saying we could proceed with the listing on Monday. He provided regular updates and even kept in touch during the quieter periods (post initial lockdown) to let me know what he was doing to increase viewings. Alex was honest and fair. I appreciated that he never encouraged me to accept a lower offer than I was happy with, he was very patient. Once we’d accepted an offer, Alex was instrumental in pushing the sale through. He liaised regularly between the solicitors and buyers (even on days off) to keep things moving, nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Hunters highly enough!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I recently rented a property through Hunters in Stoke Newington and can honestly say it has been my worst experience yet with an agent. They were consistently unresponsive to my requests to view the property after I had put a holding deposit down, they failed to read the full offer document I sent resulting in them not giving my landlord a true reflection of my offer terms. I received a contract less than 24 hours prior to my move in date only to be told 17 hours before I was due to move in I could not and would need to wait until the manager was back 3 days later. I had arranged a removals van which I then had to cancel at 6pm the day before moving in only then to be told the following morning I actually could move in. The lettings side is an absolute SHAMBLES! I later spoke with my landlord and it turns out they had told me one thing and her another.. therefore lying to one of us.. and that was the manager doing that! Nicole was great until I had put the holding deposit down then she really couldn't give a ....... !! Shame for the other Hunters franchise partners because this location will be giving them a bad name.

Jay is a great salesman and tells you whatever you want to hear but once you move in nothing ever gets done. No one fixes anything and no one picks up the phone. Terrible company and bad at managing properties and they keep so much for your deposit when you leave. Don’t go to them

2015: Worked with Alex and Anthony to buy a flat in Stoke Newington. They were both professional, respectful and listened carefully. When the right one came up for sale, Alex called us immediately and to arrange a viewing, Anthony gave us some great advice about renovations, and Alex saw us through making an offer and getting it accepted. A very positive experience... 2021: We then sold the same flat with Alex six years later. During the height of COVID madness and the cyber attack on Hackney Council. There were so many instances where it looked light these circumstances were going thwart the sale, but on each occasion Alex came up trumps, remaining calm, taking swift action, and ensuring buyers, solicitors and other parties all collaborated in the way they should. We are so grateful, and, as a result, can absolutely recommend Alex.
