Just the worst Lettings agent in the area. Never returned phone calls, never gave me any updates on the property that they were asked to let for me and priced it too high just to get my business. I found their Lettings team to be rude and dismissive when I said I was not happy with their service. I just found the whole attitude to be extremely arrogant and full of themselves. There are so many good Letting agents in the area I would just go somewhere else next time.

We had contacted Jay regarding a property we’d seen online. He not only tried to arrange viewing for that house but really heard what we wanted and suggested another property. We were able to view the second house before it was even online, and eventually ended renting the lovely property. Jay was very proactive in his approach, which was really helpful as we were able to move into the property as soon as possible. He was approachable, answered all our questions patiently and looked out for our best interest. If we were ever to look for another property, he would be our go-to-person! Dodgy listings: I enquired about viewing a property for sale. The listing photos showed great condition and nothing of concern in the description. I was told I wouldn't want to look at it, because it had massive damp/mould problems and would need work to change layout. I pointed out the listing mentioned nothing about this, and looked great. I was told that "you know, it's like Instagram, photos aren't real". Pretty unbelievable, so wont be wasting time viewing their listings.

We gave this company a number of our properties to manage and this was done really badly. They ignored maintenance issues, ignore tenant and did not tell me for 6 months that a tenant had not paid their rent. Just because they have the name Hunters means nothing its just a franchise and anyone and i mean anyone can set up. Hunters Stoke Newington Lettings is set up under Negsa lettings which is not even registered with the property Ombudsman so if you lose your money or if your unhappy they are not covered at all by an official goverment body, so they can just ignore you. No reputable agent would not be with a property Ombudsman and if i had known this before i would have run a mile. You have been warned
