I just wanted to say how happy I’ve been with this agency. They are honestly one of the best agencies I’ve worked with in London. The team is always quick to respond, very professional, and incredibly kind. A special thank you to Kirstie, who is absolutely lovely and always super attentive. She is very helpful and always responds quickly, which makes everything so much easier. Bethan has also been wonderful, very supportive and friendly throughout the whole process. I’d also like to mention Jason, who was incredibly helpful two years ago when we were looking for a place. He made the whole experience much smoother and was great to deal with from start to finish. We had a genuinely great experience with Hunters, and especially with Jesse, who helped us secure our flat in Herne Hill. We’re expecting a child and were looking for a new home to properly set ourselves up as a family, which made the process feel especially important and, at times, overwhelming. We viewed a number of places and dealt with several agents along the way, and it was very clear that Jesse went further than anyone else we worked with. The care and effort he put in genuinely stood out. When showing us the flat, he took real time with us. He tested appliances, walked us through everything properly, and made sure nothing was rushed or glossed over. He jumped through a lot of hoops during the application process and was always easy to reach when we needed clarity or reassurance. I actually picked up the keys today, and even then Jesse checked in to make sure the inventory all looked right and let us know to flag anything we needed. Knowing he’s still around and available, even after the keys are handed over, really says a lot. His communication throughout has been clear, responsive, and on top of every detail, which removed so much of the usual stress. What really stayed with us is that Jesse clearly cares about people. He looks out for tenants while also doing right by the business, and you never feel like one comes at the expense of the other. If you’re working with Hunters, we’d genuinely recommend asking for Jesse. He’s a good human, a steady presence in a stressful moment, and someone we’re very grateful to have worked with.

Raymond was punctual, informed local area and on the flat. Was also very warm but still professional. He remembered what I had told him I liked on the phone about preferences, despite the fact he must speak to several people daily! This was helpful as we didn’t need to repeat ourselves. I went to London for a house viewing on that day, but I mistook the post code somehow and ended up somewhere else. Raymond has been kind and patient to wait for my arrival by taxi, which was nearly an hour after our appointment. I felt sorry but Raymond still remained his smile and answered all my questions about the house, I think it is very understanding and professional of him. On the other hand, it was Brett, the director of the Hunters, who helped me with another rather important matter for the house owner, I thank them both, my viewing day wouldn't have been the same without them, I would highly recommend Hunters if you are looking for someone like them to find your next dream home.

Hunters in Camberwell acted as agents to sell our flat. They were expert in the local area and our type of flat, had a good database of potential buyers and handled the marketing very well. Their online brochure, sales details and photography was created very professionally by Amy and Daniel handled the buyer contact, viewings etc. The marketing attracted many viewings quite quickly and then a strong offer at the asking price. The subsequent liaison required to get the sale finalised was done very sensitively and resulted in s timely exchange of contracts and completion today! No detail or request was too much trouble. We were very happy with Hunters Camberwell and would recommend any seller (or buyer) to use them, especially Amy and Daniel.

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Maybe if you’re selling a property through them it’s fine, but if you’re looking to buy, run away! They just wasted our time!!!
