We had four local agents round to discuss marketing our late parents' property. We chose Galloways and are so pleased we did. From initial contact they showed genuine interest and enthusiasm about the property. Jon was realistic and honest about the valuation and advised us on the best way to market it. Kevin, Noah and Jon have been very supportive throughout the sales process and communication has been excellent. In the main Kevin managed the sale but during his absence Noah and Jon were always up to date and were able to step in to avoid any delays. They are friendly, professional and work well together. As a result the sale has gone through quickly and smoothly. They have been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them. Thank you to all for all you have done.

Every nightmare story you've ever heard about an estate agent is personified in these guys. Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".

Sold our West Norwood flat. Jon and his team were excellent. We dealt with mainly Jon but also Harry and David for viewings. All were very considerate and had good input on the things we could do or didn't need to do for selling the flat. We had a really tricky sale due to a number of challenges with our leasehold property and had been trying to complete for 5 years with multiple offers that always fell through due to lender issues. I have used Galloways to let and more recently sell my property. Even before I was a customer, Steve who is one of the owners, gave me advice on the aesthetics of my internal décor and I gladly took this on board. Fast forward to 3 years later and I was finally in a position to let my property. Galloways sourced great tenants and ensured they were referenced correctly and kept me informed at all times. I opted for a fully managed service and it was definitely worth it, my input was minimal and there were some minor issues with general repairs but Galloways always ensured these were sorted ASAP. I more recently decided to sell and within a few days the team secured a sale in excess of the asking price. During the process, again they provided a constant communication channel between myself and the buyer. I honestly cannot fault the high level of service, professionality, local knowledge, value for money along with the honesty and integrity of the team in Galloways. I wanted to get my own place last Nov, 2020but after having some bad and unprofessional experiences with some other agencies and I was about to give a break then I came across a new listing that listed by Galloways in Norwood. I made the contact with them and got a quick reply and also was offer a viewing right away. Ryan was my agent and he was very professional and most of all responsive. Many others I had the “privileged” to deal with didn’t reply emails, phone calls and messages or a simple yes, no for my lengthy inquiries. As a potential buyer I had to keep chasing them for answers and the sellers probably wondered why nobody was interested in their’s flats. Long story short, the contracts have now been exchanged and Ryan and I were updating each other along the way. He did an excellent job and I will recommend Ryan and Galloways to anyone buyers or sellers in confidence. They will be my choice too of course if I ever need to buy or sell again. My wife and I can't thank the West Norwood team enough for all the help in finally finding the right property for us. As anyone who has searched for a new home will attest, the industry is not the best at customer service. Galloways are the opposite, the entire team are customer focused. Steve originally showed us the first property in our search and unfortunately things didn't work outwith that property. Darren was fantastic to deal with too when we were trying to get our bid accepted. Jon has been amazing since and we have just exchanged this week on a complete project (not our original plan) so are over the moon. Nothing was too much trouble for Jon and his proactive communication is extremely appreciated.
