I telephoned the company through RightMove in order to try to arrange a viewing of a property, Walker House. I was so disappointed by the person I spoke to, Martin.
Having appeared to try to build up some rapport with me, Martin then stated that he didn’t think I was going to buy the property, saying “you’re just browsing” and hung up on me.
I was honest with Martin, sharing that I was looking around to see properties in a few areas at this time. I wish that I had NOT been this honest with him.
Estate agents are in a position to help people find a home. I understand that people are busy and may need to prioritise, but presuming things, making assumptions and hanging up on potential buyers is beyond awful. Aside from a business point of view, on a purely human level, it’s incredibly rude and unkind.
Surely, a compromise could have been reached. For example, offering to show me the flat when someone else was viewing it, or on a day when he knew he would be very close by to taking up too much of his time.
Looking around is a part of the process of buying. Getting a feel for a place in person is necessary, and looking in different areas is allowed. I’m sorry that Martin did not have the capacity to empathise with the buyers experience. Maybe I caught him on a bad day.

GoogleI rent an apartment here for a year with my girlfriend as a place to stay for my master degree study in UCL. We compared most of the agencies around and this one suited us the best. The experience is great in general. Big thanks to Daniel and Joey for all the reliable service and kind help. I highly recommend them because they are professional, trustworthy, and so very friendly. We get along so well that they ended up becoming my best friends in London. Other members of the office are nice as well, I always enjoy chatting with them. For whoever that is reading this review, if you are looking for a place to rent or trying to find someone to manage your property, this is definitely the right team that you should consider!

GoogleI rented a flat via fyfe mcdade for several years. I dealt with Joey initially who was really lovely and helpful in finding our home.
Our initial choice had already been taken but rather than brushing us off, Joey took plenty of time to understand what we were after and took us around lots of flats. Even on a Sunday, which said a lot to me.
We ended up in a great little two bed in central Kings Cross and any problems have been dealt with pretty quickly too by their property managers. Recommended as our experience has been nothing but positive.

GoogleI have used the Bloomsbury office for many years in terms of rental and sale.
Alex and his team have been superb and I highly recommend them as a past landlord.
Alex even attended the flat over a weekend when there was a leak.
Any company will have issues that could have been dealt with better but I would use them above the others in the area because they will answer calls and messages and don't hide behind a switchboard that is only accessible at certain times.

GoogleI recently purchased my first home with Fyfe McDade, and I can confidently say that they were an absolute pleasure to work with. The whole process was extremely smooth; from arranging a next-day viewing for the property as it was advertised to constant support and communication throughout the offer and soliciting process, the overall purchase development could not have gone better. Adrian Cheng, the agent for the property that I was after, was always on it; he wasted no time in replying to any of my questions, always kept me in the loop on how the process was going, and was always willing to help and work through any issues encountered. The original completion date was met and respected. Even after finding a few issues after completion, Adrian was extremely helpful in getting them sorted. There were never any communication issues and I was constantly informed of any relevant developments from the seller's and estate agent's side. And on top of that, he was an extremely cool guy! If I ever want to purchase or rent another property, it is safe to say that I will be using Fyfe McDade's services again.

GoogleOverall Extremely Good. The experience was challenging since we were attempting to rent a unit from overseas sight unseen and were unfamiliar with how things are done in the UK. Connor Brill was extremely professional, pleasant and helpful throughout this process and actually provided direction and information outside of his realm of responsibility going above and beyond. Most notably, he negotiated a lower rental price which was amazing.
I do feel that the rental screening company employed by Fyfe McDade did not do an adequate job in researching the finances available to rent the unit. They actually did not request any financial documentation whatsoever which I found perplexing. Had they asked for financial information, I've no doubt we would have been able to secure the flat with a payment of six months in advance as anticipated rather than the entire year.
The bottom line is that Connor found a perfect flat and worked beautifully with us to make it happen. It was a pleasure working with him.

When I came to sell my flat I made the mistake of not choosing them and went with a national agent who didn’t know the market and spent 4 months getting me about 6 viewings. Subsequently instructed Fyfe McDade and they had a dozen viewings and an acceptable offer through in 4 or so weeks ! Job done. Best agent around for the Bloomsbury area !

Don't choose this company as the property manager firm if you are a landlord and certainly stay away as a tennant.
My review is based on a specific rent case: Flat 2, St.Andrews's Hill (one of the central parts of London). Will not provide the full address for the security reasons. The contract was for 11 months.
Specifically, the rent contract was serviced by the Shoreditch office (1 Charlotte Rd) and the property manager Abhishek.
They have not returned my safety deposit after 3 months since the contract termination using salami tactics (providing thin slices of deadlines), their manager Abhishek is extremely good at it. Guess I will have to escalate this issue to arbitration.
They systematically neglected flat maintenance, I had to chase Abhishek, the property manager to fix stuff. Most of it (including the door handle that was broke on day one) was not fixed at the time we have left. The only thing that was fixed was the boiler as it was a real health and safety concern.
Their engagement is decent on the sales stage, but the energy levels start to fall as early as the contracting stage.

I had an awful experience renting a property with this agency in London. Firstly they never fixed some issues that we kept reporting (I even got electrocuted by the stove ignition!!). We had agreed that the microwave needed to be fixed upon signing the contract and they never did it. We lived without the microwave for a year! Secondly when we decided to leave the property and it went back on the market, they had constant viewings, letting us know only a few hours before and one of their agents even used the spare key set to get into the house unannounced and without my authorisation!!! Huge violation of privacy. By the end of the tenancy we were exhausted and felt abandoned by the agency that was supposed to care for us. To top it all off it took them almost 2 months to return our deposit!!! I had to constantly chase and beg for updates. A nightmare. Uncooperative, rude and utterly useless when it came to care for the property for which we payed a high rent!!!

GoogleI recently engaged with the very friendly and knowledgeable staff at Fyfe McDade. They took time to understand the nature of my enquiry, I didn’t feel uncomfortable, and I liked that the atmosphere was very relaxed and no one wore suits! Refreshing from an estate agency.
Alex took the time to go through several properties in their portfolio, understood my needs in wanting to be around N1C or WC1.
The team went above and beyond, also having a 15 minutes discussion about market conditions, forthcoming elections, what the Bank of England might be up to and even a bit of Bloomsbury history…
