We used Foxtons Chiswick to sell our freehold Grade II listed Georgian house and would thoroughly recommend them. They were thorough, professional, responsive and really pleasant to deal with. They also unusually got to know our unique property really well and showed a good understanding of who the right buyer would be. Adam helped us hold our nerve when the property didn't sell as quickly as we hoped due to the difficult Autumn 2025 market and advised us correctly that there would be a bounce in the new year when we got 3 offers. Catherine was incredibly diligent and proactive in moving us from offer to exchange in 8 weeks. They went above and beyond. Incredible.

The market in Brentford is slow and we turned to Foxtons when other agencies failed to book any viewings. The response was very fast. Adam O’Leary and his team got people in there and found an offer within a couple of weeks. The offer firmed up but the solicitors were slow and the exchange took two months longer than was targeted. Adam followed the process through every day in the closing weeks to clear the blockages and secure the deal. Great liaison work to keep everybody on the ball. Commission well earned.

We used Foxtons Chiswick to sell a 2 bedroom flat in Acton Gardens in autumn 2025. Catherine was our estate agent. We approached Foxtons after a different estate agent had not been able to sell our property over a 12 week period. We had not been happy with the service received, and the final straw was they suggested lowering the price (which we felt was not warranted given the desirable qualities of the flat and comparing to other similar properties available locally). Right from day 1 Catherine was professional, responsive and filled us with confidence. She (and the wider Foxtons team) appeared to have a genuine interest in our property and demonstrated a good working knowledge of the area and amenities. They assured us that they could get the price we wanted to for the flat, and they delivered on this promise. Catherine was thorough, diligent, polite and considerate and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. The proof was in the pudding when she brought to us a very sensible offer within 13 days on the market, which we accepted immediately. Catherine went over and above during the contracting phase of the sale and always took initiative proactively to get the sale across the line. I would happily recommend Foxtons, and Catherine in particular, to anyone wishing to sell a flat in Acton Gardens.

I’d consider myself a very demanding client with a long list of non-negotiables, endless questions, and a very tight budget, yet nothing ever fazed Andrew Adam from the Foxtons Chiswick office. He paid close attention to my requirements, never arranged unnecessary viewings, kept me informed without overwhelming me, and was consistently transparent. He always answered my questions clearly and effectively. Andrew was also unfailingly punctual and exceptionally organised for every viewing, qualities that, in my experience, are far from guaranteed with other estate agents. I’m still searching for the right place, but with Andrew’s patience and his excellent knowledge of the market, both now and for the future, I feel confident that, with his support and that of his colleagues, I will eventually find my perfect home.

Unprofessional timewasters. There were issues with every single rental property I put an offer on via Foxtons. The landlord of the first flat I expressed interest in suddenly decided to raise the proposed rent by £150 p/m. I then placed an offer on another flat, which was accepted, then got unceremoniously ghosted by the landlord. Foxtons were useless and didn't seem to care. I had to keep ringing/emailing the estate agent to ask what was going on, only to be told "I don't know". After a few days of silence, I said to him outright "this is a pointless endavour, isn't it?" to which the agent agreed and told me to cut my losses. He then showed me two other random, unsuitable flats, one of which was an absolute dump. During one viewing, he kept taking phone calls with other clients while showing me around the flat! Talk about rude and obnoxious. The whole experienced just underlined for me the fact Foxtons are only interested if you're a very high-income earner seeking a very expensive property. All other prospective clients are just peasants, and a way to while away a few hours of the work day by showing them grossly unsuitable flats.

Despite having paid all fees in full and holding a signed tenancy agreement, I was left standing outside on move-in day and was refused access to the property. Due to Foxtons’ inability to manage the situation, I ended up contacting the landlord myself with the signed contract in hand, trying to fix an issue that should never have occurred. They couldn’t even ensure that the agreement they issued was honoured. Had I not had somewhere else to stay, I would have been left on the street with my 6-year-old child. I did not expect this level of negligence from such a large and supposedly reputable company. I even became unsure whether my money would be refunded properly. Foxtons Chiswick is far from reliable. If you don’t want to be left completely on your own when something goes wrong, I strongly recommend staying away.

I just sold my property with Foxtons Chiswick, and Adam dealt with my case from their sales team. Although Foxtons charge a higher fee, Im very happy with their service, transparency and approach, and I highly recommend them. Adam was fantastic along with Dominic in his team. Foxtons understood the market, priced my flat correctly, did not push me even once to lower the price which I loved and was pleasantly refreshing. This was unlike another high street big brand agent that overpriced my flat significantly to secure the deal, and ended up wasting good few months. Once the deal was secured, Adam was personally on the case and regularly updated me on the progress with the buyer and their solicitor. The way in which Adam communicated, and reassured constantly was extremely calming, and I always felt that this transaction is in good hands. There were multiple legal and financial challenges, and Adam kept on top of them by I constantly pushing and influencing the buyers solicitor and proving me advice on dealing with my solicitor. I would certainly deal with Foxtons and Adam/team again!
