Foxtons London reviews

Anne Battumur is truly exceptional at what she does. Not just in understanding her clients' needs, but in recognising the emotions and apprehension that come with buying a first home. She took the time to understand us as people, listened to our future plans, and guided us towards a flat we could genuinely grow into. Throughout the entire process, from finding the right property to completion, she was always available, proactive, and thorough. Anne has a rare combination of qualities that are hard to find in a single agent: the drive and market savvy to secure an offer in as competitive a city as London, the negotiating skill to make all parties feel like they've won, and the warmth and empathy to navigate the inevitable delays and uncertainties of closing a transaction. She made what can be a daunting experience feel manageable and even enjoyable. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and I have no doubt she has an outstanding career ahead of her.

We recently rented a flat through Foxtons and had a great experience from start to finish. The process was smooth and seamless, which made what can often be a stressful time feel easy and well organised. A special shoutout to Jack Cuthbert, who was incredibly helpful throughout. He took us to multiple viewings, was always friendly and approachable, and really took the time to help us find the right place. His ongoing support and communication made a big difference, and thanks to his help we were eventually able to find the perfect flat!

Harriet Booth is simply the best estate agent I have ever worked with. From the very first interaction, Harriet brought an energy and dedication to her work that I have never encountered before in an agent. Lightning fast responses, always on the ball, and consistently positive throughout what was a very stressful and demanding search process. No matter the setback or difficulty, Harriet found the positive - every single time. Her enthusiasm made what was a genuinely tough process feel so much lighter. I trusted her completely and she never gave me reason not to. And the final seal of approval - my mini Yorkshire Terrier, who is generally quite shy around new people, really liked her. That says everything! If you are looking for an agent who is truly motivated, highly professional, and will go above and beyond for you, look no further. Harriet is exceptional.

I have been buying & selling houses for 25 years now and Beatrix is easily the best agent I have had the pleasure of working with. From start to finish Beatrix was always accessible & always reliable; she is an absolute grafter and I will be going back to her for help with properties in the future. Many thanks indeed Beatrix, your hard work was greatly appreciated.

Jas has been the most superb estate agent I've experienced. We changed agents - no results - and Jas was on it from day one. He was hungry, got an offer within the first six weeks and managed the whole process from start to finish professionally and proactively. He kept the momentum on the sale, responded quickly to questions and made it all happen efficiently. I can't recommend Jas more highly. He's both commercial and a pleasure to work with.

I had the distinct privilege of working with Beatrix Chappell, and I can say without hesitation that she operates at an exceptional level in all of prime central London. From the outset, Beatrix demonstrated consummate professionalism, acute market intelligence, and an impressive command of the complexities that define the super-prime landscape. Her strategic insight, meticulous attention to detail, and astute guidance inspired complete confidence throughout the entire process. What truly differentiates Beatrix is her refined negotiation acumen and unwavering commitment to excellence. She is proactive, perceptive, and relentlessly focused on securing optimal outcomes, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and discretion. In a market where expertise and credibility are paramount, Beatrix Chappell is unequivocally best-in-class. I still regret missing the exceptional Belgravia opportunity she presented to me, it was truly outstanding and a testament to her ability to secure remarkable properties.

Beatrix Chappell is a highly professional estate agent. From our first call, she listened to my requirements and asked great questions and then helped narrow down my property search in London. In advance of a 4 day flying visit, she put together a comprehensive itinerary of properties for me to view. I was able to find an ideal flat which met my criteria, and I made an offer. Beatrix assisted me through the whole process until exchange of contracts and completion. She kept me fully informed and really helped move things forward. She also connected me with a designer which has been invaluable. I would strongly recommend Beatrix if you’re looking for a hard-working, dedicated professional who really knows the field. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition she’s exceptionally pleasant and a great problem solver who can think on her feet. She helped me make my dream come true of once again owning a home in London. I believe she has a great career ahead of her.

My agent in the office was/is Beatrix Chappell and I can only recommend her. As a first time buyer in the UK she explained all the ins and outs of the market and the process involved. On top of that she quickly understood what i was looking for and came to me with great alternatives and comps to look at. Definitely a 5 out of 5!

We had the pleasure of working with Alistair Duncan St-Barbe in the purchase of our London apartment. We cannot recommend Alistair enough he was so accommodating and helpful in the process. Alistair was really flexible, allowing us the opportunity to see the apartment on multiple occasions and was incredibly gracious while we measured and brainstormed ideas. If you’re looking for an apartment or a new home in London my highest recommendation would be to contact Alistair and have him help you with what can be a stressful process. We have worked with a few other agencies and Alistair at Foxton’s was by far the best. He showed up on time to meet us, didn’t rush us in any way and stepped on to help move thing's along when needed. Our purchase was smooth and really fast compared to other stories we’ve heard over the 3 years we’ve been looking for a place. I’m not generally a reviewer but he was fantastic!

James Young is an actual lifesaver. From the moment I met him I knew he was the one for the job in finding me the perfect flat after having frustrating experiences with previous agents from other firms. His energy, enthusiasm and efficiency was greatly appreciated as I needed to move quickly - and he made himself available morning/noon/night to tend to any questions that I had or challenges that arose in the process as moving overseas can be quite challenging. His professionalism, savvy and gem of a personality made the entire process 100% easier and I'm so grateful to him. I would highly recommend working with James for all of your upcoming rental needs.
