I feel so lucky to have met Gabriella as a tenant because soon after, she helped me find my first home and provided a fantastic support throughout the buying process! Even when we first met as she was trying to sell the flat for my Landlord, she was extremely friendly and polite. She tried her best not to be disruptive in my life as the flat didn’t sell for a while and many people had to visit the flat throughout the day. This really made me trust and respect her professionalism! Then in my first home buying process, Gabriella was extremely patient, friendly and supportive. This was especially appreciated as I had a tight timeline and many things got tripped up due to no fault of hers. Even for issues in the later stages which I felt were outside of Gabriella’s responsibilities, she stayed connected and tried her best to help. All in all, I’m so grateful for Gabriella and Foxton’s service and would 100% recommend!

I’ve had an absolutely horrible experience with Foxtons and would strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice. Their lack of communication is beyond frustrating. Once they have your money, they completely disappear. They took two years’ worth of commission upfront, which is already outrageous, but what’s worse is that they’re impossible to get hold of after that. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and when you do finally get through to someone, they’re either clueless or make empty promises. A particularly bad experience was with Alfie, who was extremely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. His attitude towards clients is appalling, and he clearly has no interest in resolving issues or providing any kind of service. Frankly, he should not be in a customer-facing role. Foxtons’ customer service is non-existent, and their attitude towards clients is dismissive and unprofessional. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I’d recommend staying far away from them.

Avoid Foxtons at all costs, whether you’re a landlord or a buyer. We’re cash buyers and tried to book a viewing. Nobody called back and no confirmation was received, so we called them to chase, only to be told that the seller requires that we show our bank account to prove we have money before they’ll even consider giving us a viewing. Yes, they wanted to see our personal bank account just to view a property! When we asked about the two other properties, same story. We asked if the same landlord owns all three, they dodged the question and said “we normally ask for proof” which is a lie. Foxtons is the only agency we’ve dealt with that pulls this nonsense. I told them straight up that no one is getting access to my private bank account just to view a property. We’re ready buyers with cash in hand, they’re the ones losing the sale. If you’re a vendor - find a different agency. Others will work to sell your property. Foxtons will literally push real buyers away with their arrogance and ridiculous policies. If you’re a buyer - prepare to be treated like your time means nothing. No communication, no confirmation, and then they hit you with demands no other agency would ever make. We walked away and won’t look at another property with their name on it. Foxtons won’t get our business or our money, and they definitely don’t deserve the commission.

Why am I not returned deposited for a clear 'tear and wear? Does anyone know if that's their common practice or a simple mistake? Foxton informed me that the landlord claimed 1000 Pounds from my deposits due to a damaged toilet bowl. However, the toilet bowl was clean and preserved in a good condition when I checked out. And there’s no evidence nor house report provided to me to support their claim! The only thing I can do is reply ‘yes’ to accept the claim or contact the house manager who rarely responds. Moreover, even if the toilet was smashed and ruined completely somehow, 1000 pounds is much more than the price of a new toilet bowl! Again, there’s no further detail of how much his previous toilet bowl was worth. It makes me feel like the landlord and Foxton fraud me for the money. What a shame😫

I had a great experience with Melissa Acevedo from Foxtons. She is an immensely efficient, friendly and intelligent young lady. The process of viewing the properties and securing one of them only took a working day to complete. I would definitely return for her service if I have the opportunity in the future. Edit: Not sure if it is because of the COVID situation, she had become quite unresponsive. I cannot reach her at all and have to ask for another agent from the same company to assist with me.

As a landlord my experience with this branch has been very poor. The maintenance team are especially unskilled and unresponsive. Unfortunately I was allocated Crystal White as my ‘Property Manager’ and she has been absolutely useless. My property is supposed to be fully managed by this agency and I’m having to do most of their work for them. Crystal even said to me that due to COVID-19 they cannot provide a full service, however they still expect me to pay the full fees! In 6 months I haven’t seen any evidence of the staff being skilled or knowledgeable of the real estate industry and their lack of professionalism makes everything hard work and stressful.
