Thank you FJL Greenwich! You're a great team!!

I and my husband just moved to London and to be honest, it was a daunting task for me since we weren't familiar with the renting process. FJL Greenwich by far is the best estate agent that we've ever encountered. I want to thank Le, Jason and Jodie for their exceptional work, kindness and understanding through the process. The great thing about them is, they really, really listen to your needs and your expectations from a flat/house. We had a viewing appointment with Le in Greenwich for a flat; then he took us to another flat that he thought that we'd really like and he was definitely right! He really listened our needs and got us a flat which is a perfect fit for us. Jason and Jodie was very helpful in every step of the renting process and they were all very kind to answer all of my questions (which was around a million!!) Thank you, again, for everything that you did for us, we really appreciate.

Highly recommended Real Estate Agent and staff!

As everyone knows, looking for a new flat is not usually associated with the word fun and often leaves everyone involved at the brink of both stress and bankruptcy. That being said, the experience I had with Felicity J Lord was surprisingly stress free and well organised. In particular I would like to thank Bilal Qaisar at the Felicty team who guided us on the journey, from looking at our first flat to actually going through with this property. He was professional, always created a sense of calm and positivity with our hunt and was available (night or day) for our questions and freak out moments. He felt like more of a friend than an estate agent. Not to mention the card he left us when we ended up moving in which was a very nice touch. Extremely kind and professional

I really need to thank the London Bow FJL office for their excellent work. In particular Ellie and Karen. I needed to move in a very stressful period, but they did everything they could to make the experience as better as possible. Incredibly professional, everything had been clear since the beginning and worked smoothly until the move in date. No waste of time, only kindness, courtesy and competence. I cannot remember the number of questions I asked and the requests for information. However Ellie has always been extraordinarily informative, patient, helpful and friendly, always finding a solution. I never thought that renting a house could be so simple and pleasant. An exemplary experience

An exemplary experience! Jason, branch manager of the Greenwich FJL office, has been incredibly informative, patient, supportive and transparently professional throughout this process, which as a first time renter has been rather daunting.My only constructive criticism lies with the communication between the automated Rightmove platform through FJL HQ to the property specific agency as none of my numerous phone calls or email were logged. This, however, bore no resemblance to the immediacy of action I experienced once I arrived at the Greenwich Lettings office; I viewed the desired property within an hour, made my formal offer and am in the process of an, hopefully successful, application. My sincere thanks to Jason and his lovely team at FJL Greenwich.

I have used the full property…

I have used the full property management service with FJL for several years now and, although at the beginning I was not happy with the service, the past couple of years things have improved enormously. The lettings team (particularly Hannah) have been extremely proactive when it comes to re-letting, and have enabled me to re-let without a void for the past 2 years. They seem to have a good knowledge of the lettings market and have given me sound advice on my choice of tenants. My only criticism would be that the Lettrak service (property portal) needs some serious improvement: it is continuously providing inaccurate information, and seems a pretty pointless service unless it can be improved.

Fine until move in day

I'm about to move into a new flat that I viewed with Justyna from the Blackheath branch. I also dealt with a few other members of the team and all were equally helpful. The referencing process went smoothly and any queries I had were dealt with promptly.Their fees seem to be in line with their competitors.** Update after moving in **Could not collect keys until 3pm on move in day, which was not ideal as I had booked that day off work to move and was back at work the following day. It was closer to 4pm before I could start unpacking my first load. The cleaners had only just finished cleaning so carpets were still wet.Flat was advertised as including parking permit, but as yet I have not received a permit so am having to spend an hour every day renewing 12 hourly visitors permits or pay to stay in a public carpark.Not sure where the fault lies for these problems, not necessarily with Felicity J Lord, but has not been a good first few days of the tenancy so far.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a 1 bed flat in Islington and have been in contact with Emma from the Islington branch, from the onset Emma was friendly, helpful and even went out of her way to offer us the best service! All of the properties Emma found for us were great but the move in dates didn't work and the property that did work we loved straight away and cannot wait to move! Once we put our deposit down, the referencing process was smooth and efficient. We had 1 minor technical issue but Emma resolved it straight away. Would highly recommend using Felicity J Lord, and Emma to find your next property!

Requirements fulfilled!!! Affordable rate.

Initially, we were a little reluctant to view a place through any agency. Somehow, through Rightmove, we came across through Felicity J Lord. We called them up and gave our requirement as we needed a spacious place but in a reasonable range. The place we queried for was already let agreed, so they asked they would get back once they have something. By afternoon, we got a call back stating there was a new letting which had just come up and they insisted us to view the place. Lucy, who is the Senior Negotiator, guided us in viewing the place as she understood our requirement very well. Believe us! We instantly liked the place as it fulfilled our needs. Since the time we said a Yes for the place, Lucy has been constantly taking care of each and every step until the move in. Honestly, she has been helping us even after the move in. As of Felicity as an agency, everything is so well organized and has every next step channelized. Beginning from viewing request, and then going ahead with the agreement, managing all terms between Landlord and Tenant and Inventory check-in and then Maintenance, everything thing is up in a beautiful site. We are really happy with our move-in and love the place we are now in. Thanks to Felicity, you made the complex journey of the move in, really a cake walk, and not to forget to mention, at a very affordable rate, which we all keep an eye on and try avoiding. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!

I strongly recommend that anyone renting through this agency documents and reports every single issue during their tenancy. While many of my reports went unanswered, they proved valuable as evidence for later disputes. During my tenancy, I was proactive in reporting the progression of mould in the flat, an issue I knew had affected a previous tenant, who was also charged for mould damage. Despite submitting multiple reports over several months, I received no response until a mid-tenancy inspection, during which the issue was dismissed as “something normal for a flat close to the river.” At the end of my tenancy, I was nevertheless charged £295 for mould damage, despite consistently ventilating and heating the apartment as advised and reporting/seeking advice if there's anything further I can do. This experience has been disappointing and suggests a lack of accountability in property maintenance and tenant support.

As an independent Chartered Building Surveyor and Valuer I have found the sales staff very helpful and knowledgeable with respect to local property valuation. The Agency is also very co-operative in allowing my clients having property surveys carried out the facility to attend the property further under supervision post survey where appraisals can be promptly given and potential for improvement reviewed and discussed. Some Agents can be suspicious of Surveyors but F J Lord always make an effort in assisting me to fully undertake property surveys for potential purchasers and assist in remedying with the vendor any issues arising.
