From our first viewing all the way through to completion Mariam kept us informed of every step, and what was happening with all the parties involved. She was completely patient and answered all of our emails and FTB questions immediately, and most importantly kept on top of the solicitors to keep everything moving along at pace. We cannot rate the service we received from Martin and his team more highly. From the get-go they were honest, realistic and reliable. Selling our house through them was a breeze and we felt in the safest of hands from start to end. They took beautiful images of our home, wrote a fantastic description and delivered a brilliant roster of buyers for us, resulting in numerous offers in less than 8 days of the house going on the market. They gave us sound advice throughout and matched us up with brilliant buyers whose goals were aligned with ours for a fast, incredibly smooth and positive sale. We have moved out of the area now, but we would (and have!) recommended Ellisons to all our local friends for their flawless service based on honesty and trust from that very first phone call.

Martin and the team were fantastic in selling my flat and instrumental in keeping the sale process on track when we ran into delays and communication issues between different solicitors and the housing association which could otherwise have lost us the sale completely. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Mariam and Martin while selling our house.We actually bought our home through Martin a few years ago, and from day one he has always been fantastic, friendly, approachable, and someone who genuinely cares. Even after we moved in, he kept in touch, which really stood out to us and showed how much he values his clients. So when it came to selling, we didn’t even need to think twice about who to go with. Our sale was handled by Martin and Mariam, and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were supportive, reassuring, and always so quick to respond whenever we had questions (no matter how big or small!). Selling a house can sometimes feel stressful, but Martin and Mariam made the whole process so much easier with their professionalism, patience, and positive attitude. We always felt like we were in safe hands and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We managed to sell out home within two days. Between Martin’s ongoing support and Mariam’s hard work throughout the sale, we felt completely looked after and knew we had a team who truly wanted the best for us. Martin had the skills to handle the difficult conversations and negotiations to finally achieve completion, bringing the chain back from the dead many times. As a first-time buyer, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Ellisons, especially Martin. He handled a really tricky sale that involved the seller nearly being repossessed, a lease extension with a hard-to-reach freeholder, and the pressure of completing before the stamp duty deadline. On top of that, I was probably the most annoying buyer ever, always asking questions and chasing updates, but Martin (and the whole team) never made me feel like a nuisance, even though I definitely was. Superb, friendly, professional, hard working, honest and straightforward - they make selling a property about as stress free as you could hope for in a country where selling/purchasing a property is as laborious, time consuming, and unnecessarily complicated as possible... In situations where three sets of solicitors can't communicate with each other and sometimes not even with their clients it's fantastic having someone like Aimee literally dragging the information out of them and passing things on to us, making things function about 10 times better than it would have done.
