I was a tenant with this agency for several years and, while I did eventually receive my full deposit back, my overall experience was quite frustrating. One issue that stood out was during a request to update tenancy documentation to reflect a change in title and pronouns. This was explained as important for official purposes, and while the team initially seemed understanding, the same unamended document was sent back multiple times despite follow-up requests. This caused unnecessary delays and stress. Communication was also inconsistent at times. Some queries, particularly around property boundaries and access, were not clearly addressed, and responses could be selective. When issues were escalated, the tone of communication occasionally became quite abrupt, which made resolving matters more difficult. There was also an instance where a representative attended the property early in the morning without prior notice and knocked persistently. This felt unexpected and uncomfortable, especially without an established prior interaction. Throughout the tenancy, there were ongoing concerns around property management, including delays or lack of response regarding security issues and access arrangements. In addition, interactions relating to charges at the end of tenancy required significant back-and-forth before being resolved. While the deposit was ultimately returned in full, I found the overall experience to involve more stress and persistence than expected, and I would have appreciated clearer communication and more consistent handling of tenant concerns

We had the most amazing experience with Huw Howell-Pryce from Dutch & Dutch. I rang Dutch & Dutch to register with them as we were looking to move house (rental) and still hadn't found anything after 6 weeks of looking. Huw immediately knew what I was looking for and arranged for me to go and see an off market property that very same day. The flat was incredible - complete with a roof terrace. Huw was knowledgable, supportive, friendly, transparent and most importantly, was very punctual in responding to our many requests. I would like to thank Robert Reiff of Dutch & Dutch for all the help he has given me for the last few months in getting the letting completed on my Warehouse in Stanmore by going above and beyond on what any letting agent would normally do, in project managing for me by arranging for a new 3-Phase Electrical supply to be installed in the building that was required by the new Tenants, and having to deal with UK Power Networks and EDF Energy over these months in getting them to complete the required works. Robert originally sold me the two adjoining buildings many years ago and has always dealt with the subsequent lettings of both of the properties over the ensuing years in a total professional manner so as to relieve me of all of the stress involved on the same. Had a wonderful experience renting with Dutch & Dutch in a very hectic market. Maintenance checks are regularly carried out and Dena Gold the block Property Manager always sends a courtesy message to keep us in the loop. Buildings and garden area upkeep are also great.
