Michelle and the team have excelled with the sale of our flat. They really earned their fees - initially with a tricky buyer and when that fell through they quickly turned it around with fast new viewings getting good offers and sound advice on how to proceed. The flat came with a lot of complexity re freeholder, land registry etc issues and Michelle steered and chased the sale through and worked well with our solicitor. All the team went beyond their remit and have been very helpful with ad hoc things relating to selling a flat (I don't live locally and lockdown restrictions). They have good systems so things don't get dropped and are quick to respond. They worked hard for our sale and we were very pleased with their friendly, professional and effective service.

I have recently been in touch with D&G for our property search in Central London and so far my experience is very pleasant and I think they are very good/efficient. Tsampikos has been our main point of contact, he's very flexible, sending us great recommendations, and has great communication skills. He even scheduled appointments on Saturdays to match our availabilities, despite the fact that he was supposed to be off that day. I also really like the customer portal where you can pilot everything in regards to your property search! Thanks a lot Tsampikos and the whole team!

I dealt with three people at D&G, Amelia Maugham, Michelle and Harry. There were all professional, helpful, punctual and friendly. Amelia ran interference between the vendor and myself, and showed me the property on FaceTime. She even went to make some measurements for me to facilitate furniture shopping, was very thoughtful, and quite delightful to deal with. Harry showed up to show my parents the property in person before I had a chance to see it, and Michelle, the office manager was very instrumental in helping me find surveyors, foreign exchange guys and whatever else I needed (a printer!). They worked very well together and I felt supported and confident that I was making the right decisions, and I would use them all again in a heartbeat.

Harry Ellis is great, want to share our experience with Harry as he showed us around several flats in the Clapham & Battersea area. Harry looks very professional, he’s very softly spoken & knows his trade. He had answers to all our questions but, if he didn’t know, he got back to us later. Friendly, approachable & a very good salesman without the suffocating sales pitch. It’s great to see an estate agent doing their homework, Harry showed me a selection of flats I didn’t pick, he asked me what I wanted & liked & he made his job to find properties for me. But the great news on top of this is that she is so professional and so efficient . If she says something is going to be done that’s what happens. After having dealt with Douglas & Gordon twice, it is not surprising to me that the Daily Telegraph referred to them as one of the best estate agents in Britain! All the letting agents I have had the pleasure of dealing with were genuinely friendly, available and never pushy or appearing desperate to break a deal, which is hugely refreshing! It was a particular joy to be guided by Kitty Bilborough as she assisted me in making an offer to rent my new beautiful flat. She is naturally friendly and upbeat but also extremely honest and clear in how she communicated with me, promptly explaining the terms and conditions regarding the holding deposit and the agency's fees and all the options I had, before proceeding with anything. She showed outstanding professional conduct, even taking the opportunity to give me advice on how to reclaim the holding deposit that another agency maliciously wouldn't refund to me - as a result, I ended up filing a complaint with that agency and got my money back. Thanks to Kitty and the team at Douglas & Gordon, the entire negotiating process ran very smoothly and I was always well looked after, even after moving in to the flat. The service that Douglas & Gordon provides is 5 star, the best I've ever had in 10 years of dealing with estate agencies. Highly recommended!
