Working at D&G was a great experience. The staff where all beyond welcoming and helpful. I always new I could talk to management or my colleges with any help I needed whilst at work, making sure I was always doing the best I could Hermimi Gable and Maxwell Thompson were always friendly, hardworking and would go the extra mile for sellers and buyers. They made sure we where up to date on everything going on in the company, the stock we held and the current market and strived to make things the best they can for there staff and costumers/clients! Guy Farquharson was a great manager he had amazing leadership and communications skills and new how to keep the work environment professional and enjoyable!

Had a really good experience looking for a flat with D&G, especially with Alfie who was nothing but persistent and cheerful in helping us continue to look for a places after an offer we submitted stalled! He would call me up when he was on site at a place he thought may be a good fit, just to show me around and keep our options as broad as possible. Michael was great too, really responsive in keeping us up to date on the state of our offer. Highly personable and motivated team, shame we didn't end up being able to let with them but hopefully in the future.

We were selling a flat which, for a number of reasons, was difficult to budge. Initially we dealt with the manager, Hayley Thorning, but later with Hui Wu. We were impressed by Hui's buslnesslike, professional approach. She worked hard to secure a buyer, and succeeded. She did everything posssible to keep the sale on track, and again she succeded. Hui was always brisk and "no nonsense" but she was also invariably courteous and pleasant. She went out of her way to help us and we are most grateful to her. We felt that our sale was in good hands and we were right.

I would strongly recommend Melissa of D&G as an estate agent. As a first time home buyer who is relatively new to the area, Melissa went to great lengths to understand my individual circumstances whilst patiently showing me a number of properties in the Pimlico area. Even as my search area expanded further across the river and southwest of Pimlico, instead of pushing me off onto other agents, Melissa took the time to not only leverage her broader D&G network to provide continuity for me into other local London areas, but she even went above and beyond by happily continuing to physically show me the other properties outside of her traditional coverage area. She is extremely knowledge on the local markets, genuinely pleasant to explore flats with and really does have a great ability for finding your dream home that accounts for must haves/nice to haves within your budgetary constraints.

We have been so pleased with Alfie from Douglas & Gordan! My partner and I were looking to move more centrally in London. Following some poor experiences with other letting agents, we saw a property with a lovely agent from the D&G Clapham office but then changed some of the parameters of our search. That's when my partner contacted Alfie from the Pimlico D&G office and told him what we were looking for. Alfie picked out several properties which matched our requirements and arranged viewings for us. The first couple were lovely but the last one was perfect for us and we put it an offer which was accepted. Alfie was friendly and professional during the viewings and I cannot give him high enough praise for his communication skills. Following us submitting our offer, he kept us up to date and helped us out at every step of the way. He was also mindful of COVID precautions during our viewings. Tessa at the Pimlico office has also been lovely and super helpful. We were let down by another estate agent who had found tenants for our rental flat but had still not produced a signed agreement one month after we accepted their offer. We were dealing with this very frustrating situation from abroad, so it was doubly stressful. Luckily, D&G found us an alternative tenant with a week to go - Mike and Louise were brilliant, especially Louise, who had a signed agreement for us THE SAME DAY we accepted the offer, as well as the deposit sorted out - what a star! So we could relax, after a huge amount of stress. We have used D&G for many years to find tenants for our rental flat and they have been consistently good throughout - we can't recommend them enough. I've been dealing with two representatives (Ryan and Tsampikos) from D&G and they have been quick in getting back to me on properties I've expressed interest in. Being based overseas, it can be easy to be ignored because of the added challenge of coordinating time zones to schedule virtual visits. Terrible service with Michael and the team. They didn’t tell me about 8 months of planned works that started 1 month after my check in. (They told me they didn’t know) They entered in the apartment without notice to take pictures (touching and moving my stuff without my consent). They didn’t let the Tenancy Management know that the contract was ended and the credit department contacted me because defaulting. And many other situations like this. Never again! A very unprofessional service.

Upgrading my original 1 star to a 3 star because Orla Lynch has been fantastic. She is the full 5 star experience and I wish my first impression of D&G had been with her. -, , , , , , , , , , , - Ridiculous agents that completely ignore your price limits. I was looking to buy at no more than £700K and was dragged around to see an entire collection of properties over £1.4M. Still getting emails for properties that are almost double my price limit. Don’t throw away your time using agents that don’t listen to you. Dhanraaj Melwani completely wasted a lovely day dragging me from flat to flat at breakneck speeds, and kept forcing 1M and above flats on me.

They truly stood out from the rest of agencies we were dealing with at the time, providing exceptional service, attention to detail, and last but not least a great property. As such, we decided to go for a property marketed on their website in Pimlico. We had the pleasure of having Louise Budgen holding our hand through the entire process, which was a huge amount of help. We were given advice on how to go through the entire procedure, and she was always super friendly and available. Thanks to Louise, we were able to process everything super quickly so we could move in by our desired date, despite providing minimal notice! This, personally, exceeded my expectations. And then for the cherry on top. Differently to my previous experiences with various other agencies moving in - we were given an accurate inventory check, with proper meter readings, and even a lovely set of keys (it's honestly the details that count). But it wasn't just this, we were handed a lovely "good luck moving in" card from the team over at D&G which expressed their best wishes. All in all, we have been treated exceptionally by the agency - with a special mention for Louise who has been, again, super helpful and PATIENT (yes, in caps, because tenants aren't always easy to deal with but we were always helped through every single minute step) - the good treatment has not stopped post-moving in and I really hope everyone appreciates your help as much as we did!
