We recently enquired about renting out a property to which the team responded quickly booking a face to face home appointment. We received such helpful , straight forward, balanced , realistic and factual information from Joanna , a member of the team. We had felt quite overwhelmed by the process however she brought clarity and calmness to the process.

We sold and purchased a property through Douglas Allen earlier this year - never again! Before we got started, the sales manager handling our sale attempted to orchestrate the signing of the contract so that we lose our right to cancel the agreement, they aggravated our vendor to the point the manager of the wanstead branch was moved, they lacked tact and compassion when negoiating our sale, to a point we had to apologise to our buyer on their behalf, and as for the quality of marketing, our 2-year old could have done better job. We ended up writing the property description and overseeing the photographer ourselves as the first attempt was so poor. They certainly weren't worth the £8K commission!

Sold a crock about using their in house legal team. Paid our £25.00 REFUNDABLE deposit. Found a considerably cheaper solicitor to handle our sale but am STILL waiting for our refund since well before Christmas. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FIBS
