Hana is amazing. We still can't believe she found our dream property within our first week of looking and secured an off market sale with our first offer. She has been so supportive throughout the whole process, responded to our queries within the hour almost every single time, and is usually the first person to pick up the phone when we ring the branch anyway! She is always extremely polite and friendly, and has never made us feel like a bother. We could not be more grateful for all the help and time she has poured into our sale and we would not have reached the point of exchange without her. We know the past month has generated a lot of work and back & forth chasing but it really has been so easy to keep in contact with her and that is something we really appreciate as we have heard some absolute horror stories from people using other estate agents! We are going to be recommending Hana & Dexters to everyone we know (and already have been!). Thank you to Jaydene as well who has been able to step in whenever Hana was on annual leave and bring the same enthusiasm and commitment Hana has shown us. Kai Grant is a legendary salesman and negotiator. Thanks to him we were able to find a great flat in the location we wanted for the price we wanted. Unfortunately, we couldn't go ahead with it because the landlord was against families. However, Kai was very professional regardless and was willing to move the move-in dates for us, find an alternative option, get the furniture we asked, and go an extra mile. Wish him all the best!

The house we bought was advertised with Dexters by the seller. On our visit, the agent, Rhiannon, wasn’t able to answer several basic questions - knowing when the boiler was last serviced seems like bread and butter information. My experience of sales is to know your product, not just look at your phone seemingly bored. When we called the office, we spoke with Jaydene once and someone else another time. They were always pulling these sales#101 tactics, “Hurry! Someone else is gonna put in offer soon!” “Another buyer is really interested, act fast!” It was cringe. I felt embarrassed for them for thinking people fall for that noise. We put in an offer under the asking price. It was rejected and Rhiannon was like “how high are you willing to go?” lol. Talk about amateur hour. Yeah I’m gonna go straight to my highest. Cmon. 😂 Anyway we got the house for around 22k less than asking price, but I’m still kicking myself we didn’t lowball more because from a sales perspective it was amateur hour - so yeah would definitely buy from them again. Everything else was fine. The sale went through. They were obviously eager to close quick and get that commish. They were quite pushy hurrying us to close fast and then… the seller needed two more weeks. lol. Still it’s all good. We love our place. Been here almost a year now. I wouldn’t advise against doing business with them. But you have to know: these people dress smart, have bully boy watches, maybe drive a nice car, but it’s all a sheen to distract from the fact that they’re chasing paper, are willing to be a little dishonest and are, frankly, probably a bit dim. But even when you know all of this… if they have something you want, the house of your dreams, say - will you blink first?

AVOID ! The first property we liked, the seller took it away from Dexters and gave it to another estate agent so they weren't happy with the service. The second property we liked I was told I would have to pay top price.... or " Get a mortgage if you can't afford it " by Jaydene. Then when I made an offer the Branch manager said " it's Sold so apologies you've missed it". A few days later I made an offer on same property and it was accepted - but they didn't encourage an offer from me on behalf of the seller. These people make it hard to buy and came across a bullying and condescending so as a buyer you have to Hold Your Nose to deal with them. AVOID( let's see if the same positive views appear exactly a day just after this).

Highly unprofessional experience. I attempted to view a listing but spent over an hour being told by the receptionist to "call back in 15 minutes." After four attempts, I finally reached a man who was incredibly rude and aggressive, only to be told they’d call me back, which never happened. Property owners beware: this team is actively turning away prospects and failing to follow up on leads. Save your time and list elsewhere. They are unresponsive to inquiries and have zero professional etiquette. If you want your property to actually be shown to people, do not list with them.

I've had the pleasure of having Harvey Thrower assisting my family and me, to look for the right apartment in London, and we are delighted at what Harvey has helped us find and close. Landlord here and we have mixed experience. Our property was laid empty for months with another estate agent. As soon as we changed to Dexters the property was let out for a good price. No major issues through out multiple tenancies. Fast forward a few years, when it comes to selling the property, we have not even got valuation done after 6 weeks. We had to reach out each time for an update and after two follow ups all we had was “we are waiting to hear back from the tenant (to gain access to the property)”. **Update** Dexters contacted me again, and long story short, the valuation is finally arranged after much perseverance from the agent, which I really appreciate. The lesson I learned- it takes a lot of hard work from both sides to make things happen in this process. Good communication is the key, which I believe we have established now.
