GoogleA decent agency but will take your deposit based on fabricated excuses and excessive charges such as £75 to change light bulbs (I had a poor experience with Annalisa who just ignored our evidence and was quite rude). Be careful and make sure you check everything at the start of the tenancy (even small things like a minor stain on a sofa) otherwise they charge you full fees for cleaning at the end.

The deductions were reviewed and awarded by an independent adjudicator through the deposit protection scheme, based on evidence from both sides. These included rent arrears, final cleaning (with your prior agreement), and missing light bulbs.

GoogleAs an Italian, it is really not a review I wanted to write. However I feel it is necessary to help other prospective tenants dealing with Casa Londra.
The flat we rented was managed by them. During the 2 years of our contract we had countless "property managers". They would email out of the blue to ask us to be home for different property checks but there would never be any handover from one manager to the other as they did not seem to follow what had happened in the past.
Frequently they would not answer emails and we had to figure out who the right contact was at the time.
The coup de grace came at the end of our tenancy when Stella (our then property manager) tried to charge us an extra cleaning fee. We had paid for professional cleaning with a well known company precisely to avoid this and when I pointed this out Casa Londra backed off - they were obviously just trying their luck for an easy buck. We did get some random charges for things like 'tile scratches' and a dirty freezer shelf which while unfair I accepted just so that I did not have to speak to them ever again.
We have now bought our own flat and if we ever sell it or rent it out would avoid Casa Londra at all costs.

Dear Mr Belcea, we are very sorry to hear that you felt badly treated by our team. Casa Londra's mission is to manage properties as if they were our own and to offer a prompt, attentive and personalised management and letting service to both our Landlords and Tenants. Despite this, if during the transition period between property managers you experienced a lack of communication, we do apologise. As for the £32 extra cleaning charge (the cost of two extra hours of domestic cleaning), our Property Manager Stella did the correct thing by carefully comparing the check in and check out reports prepared by our Inventory Clerk. We know that even the best professional cleaners sometimes forget a few details. Stella noticed that the flat required more cleaning in some parts but immediately agreed to remove that charge as a goodwill gesture when you complained about it.
Our team always work hard in trying to reconcile the interests of both parties and your comment about charging you unfairly for the extra cleaning did upset us as we don’t operate in this manner. We thank you however for your criticism, which we will take in a positive and constructive manner, as we always like to improve our services. We wish you all the best with your new property.
