Helpful, Attentive and Efficient

Once we made the decision to go with Bidx1 everything moved along very quickly and efficiently. Fiona was extremely helpful, attentive and efficient. She explained the process well and kept us in the loop every step of the way. She organised photographs, advertising and viewings to suit us. We had never sold by Auction before but I would certainly recommend BIDX 1 after our experience.

Extremely arrogant people (I dealt with Joel). You pay crazy money for their time and they don’t even bother to reply to basic inquires. Once you have fallen on their trap you are on your own. Similar sick attitude as well from the solicitors they use (Spire Solicitors). Avoid at all cost.

Great experience so far

Great experience so far. We’re cash buyers and found a great apartment in Kildare county being sold by a receiver on BidX. Basically it was on sale by the bank because the previous owner couldn’t pay off his mortgage. We’ve got a solicitor consultation (costed 250 euro), he confirmed that everything is good, the legal pack is adequate and we’re not gonna have problems with a title. The only risk was with management fees not being paid for years but we accepted the risk and were ready to pay it off in the worst case scenario. We had a viewing of the apartment and we liked it. We sent the bidding fee of 4500€ plus technology fee of 150€ to BidX. Money arrived in one day, very fast. The agent helped us a lot to make sure we’re not late for the bidding. The bidding process was easy and hassle free. We didn’t win it unfortunately, but the apartment was sold still underpriced. You won’t find anything for that money on the market. Okay, so we lost it and BidX returned our bidding fee in just two working days. Technology fee is non refundable, but it’s a reasonable fee for a chance to get a great property. So go for it, but keep in mind: this will suit cash buyers only. And make sure you found a good solicitor to investigate the property. Your money, your responsibility, BidX is just a platform for quick sales, opening some great opportunities.

There is no option to give zero stars. These people give a whole new meaning to incompetent. As a prospective buyer I had to beg them for information. At no point was I kept updated on progress. The ad for the house was going up and down. Then the house was sold at a moment’s notice. I was unable to attend the auction. The house sold for about 50,000 less than I was willing to pay for it. Requests and queries went unanswered. Different agents contradicted each other. The whole thing was a shambles. You would want to be a fool to sell your property with them.

The auction process run by BidX1 I have found to be efficient and delivered what was promised.I was representing a charity so there was additional pressure in terms of financial security etc. We were unsuccessful in bidding but the process was simple and transparent. Our bidding security fee and admin fee(a considerable amount £5500) was returned after 24hours.Most important points:-- Do your own provenance on the property, BidX1 only provide the platform-Money laundering regs can be painful in terms of required docs- bank transfers can be delayed for security reasonsFinally thank you to Ian and his team for their assistance dealing with the inevitable glitches.Regards Clive

It was the reserve price and had they kept the auction open for the time stated I would have competed and they would have made a lot more money. Jamie the auctioneer was unresponsive all the way through my farcical experience.They then reply to me giving me an email address (see their reply below) and this email address is not assessable to anybody outside their organisation seemingly. Their continued incompetence did make me laugh though.

There was a property for sale that I was interested in I was initially hesitant in proceeding with Bidx 1, as I didnt know anything about them afraid it could be a scam After a long hard hurdle I got a bidding number I found their staff extremely helpful On day of auction it was intense but very fast moving at last minute I was successfull bidder on the day Over all it was a good experience but I would advise buyer beware One would have to be willing to take the gamble on the property and be prepared to lose your deposit if you not happy with your purchase
