I’ve had experience with Benham and Reeves from both sides of the relationship, first as a tenant some years ago, and now as a landlord with multiple properties under their management. Having seen how they operate in both roles, I can confidently say they run a very efficient and professional service. As a tenant, the process was straightforward and well managed, with clear communication and responsive staff. That positive experience is one of the reasons I later chose them when I became a landlord. Now, with several properties let and managed through them, I’ve found their team to be highly organised and proactive. They handle tenant sourcing, referencing, and ongoing management smoothly, and they keep landlords well informed throughout the process. Any queries or issues are dealt with promptly, which gives real peace of mind when managing property. Their fees are fair for the level of service provided, and they clearly have strong market knowledge across London. They’ve been effective at securing good tenants and maintaining occupancy, which is exactly what landlords want. Overall, my experience with Benham and Reeves has been very positive. I’d happily recommend them to other landlords looking for a reliable and efficient letting and management agent in London. A special shout out to Marc, who has been excellent to work with. He is always professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive, which makes a big difference when managing multiple properties. Marc is clearly very experienced in his role and consistently keeps me updated, provides helpful advice, and ensures everything runs smoothly from a landlord’s perspective. I just completed on the sale of my family house in Dartmouth Park through Benham and Reeves Dartmouth Park office. And both Billy and Louis truly could not have been more professional, efficient, helpful and experienced. They jointly kept in regular touch with both sides and most importantly with both sides lawyers to ensure the legal side of things progressed properly and in a timely manner. I felt I could always phone either Billy or Louis even on weekends or in the evenings when I had concerns. Therefore I can wholeheartedly recommend Billy and Louis and Benham and Reeves with not only the easiest sale ever but also must mention the service was excellent while I was letting the house through them before they sold it for me. Billy was, without question, the best real estate agent we could have asked for. Our home sale was long and complicated process (our previous solicitor had made some mistakes in our paperwork that we had to fix) - but Billy guided both us and the buyers through every step with patience and skill, answering questions, easing tensions, and keeping things moving forward. He genuinely cared about how we were feeling throughout the process, not just the paperwork, and that care is what earned our trust completely. And then you need someone with diplomatic skills, experience with conflict resolution, an aptitude for problem solving, patience, and the ability to maintain a state of equilibrium no matter what. Ivan our Highgate lettings manager has said that you are aware that the block management agent is responsible for your utility management, its completely outside our control.
