GoogleA painful experience to attempt to sell our property. Several viewings confirmed with us who didnt turn up and no phone call from the agents to let us know. Once the property did sell, the lady who was In charge of pushing the sale forward, didnt do the job. After over 2 months, our buyer didnt have a mortgage in place so we put pressure on the agents to find out what was going on and turned out the buyer was a complete waste of time. Team mostly unprofessional. We lost around £1000 on the property we tried to purchase. Wouldnt trust barnard marcus again in future unfortunately.NegativeQuality

Very professional, friendly and so helpful. I can't rate him highly enough. Always been honest and clear with any type of negotiation/offer and super quick in any response to texts or calls. GoogleMay I just start with saying my experience with 'Bernard Marcus Estate Agent' was the best so far and I would highly recommend, although I didn't find the perfect property the customer service I received was marvellous. The first call I made was picked up by Kemar I believe, who was amazing and helpful yet honest and straight forward. He booked a viewing in that day and offered another property to view which was a bonus. Met Bernardo at one of the properties who was so lovely it was honestly a dream to negotiate with. Both extremely professional, helpful and polite. Competent and efficient service.

GoogleI viewed houses with Barnard Marcus. First property I called up to make an offer, the guy hang up said offer is too low and hang up the phone. Second property I made an offer and waited for them, never heard anything back, 2 weeks later I checked and the property was sold, they did not let me know my offer was rejected.

GoogleArranged a viewing for two properties which was confirmed the evening before. We attended the property at the arranged time - but after 15 minutes no one turned up so we called the office. The person on the phone told me both viewings had been cancelled but they didn't have my contact details. I gave them my contact details three times, received emails from them and had a voicemail from the office previously that week! The estate agent then had the cheek to contact me via email a few days later to try and reschedule without even an apology! I found them to be incompetent and rude.

GoogleSo had about of a journey with my property search but Barnard and Marcus we’re there with me all the way, from one house not pulling through and them fighting tooth and nail to find me another place everything finally came through today and I couldn’t be happier! Kemar and Leroy in lettings are brilliant and truly invested in helping people get started and find a home! Thank you guys it is more than appreciated! If you are looking to move round this area I can’t recommend the team at barnard Marcus enough! They’re brilliant!

GoogleUnfortunately, the quality of service from Barnard Marcus has been very poor, from start to finish of my residency. You get passed around between teams, left on hold for hours and any issues take ages to get sorted out. We are still owed hundreds of pounds from our deposit. They take lunch breaks at all hours of the day and the member of the team you need to reach is almost always out of office.NegativeProfessionalism

Leandra showed around 4 very different properties and was friendly, professional and relaxed (as in 'not pushy') throughout. GoogleWe've been with BM for almost a year and unfortunately they have failed to sell our property. We've had a mixed experience with them in what is clearly a tough market. Their communication was very poor and took a lot of complaining from me before we received a weekly email and timely post-viewing reports. They did eventually achieve a low offer after 5 months on the market. They were helpful in trying to push the transaction through as quickly as possible, and it was not their fault that the transaction was aborted by the buyers. However, since that fell through their efforts have been underwhelming at best. They proposed a "relaunch" of the property online on Boxing Day, but this never happened due to what they admitted was their own oversight. They also confirmed they are unable to offer concrete statistics or insights - so, if they recommend a strategy to you, this will be the result of a hunch or anecdotal feedback, rather than data showing what works. They are a nice team, but 11 months in I think they just want us off their books. I would not work with them or another branch of BM again.

GoogleWorst agents met in past years. Rude and irresponsible. Called to arrange a couple of views for Saturday, did not receive any confirmation regarding time and location. Chased up in early morning, wrong post code was given. They explained new build does not have right post code... A agent Oliver shouted to us at the gates after 20 mins, said we are late and he had to go in 5 mins! However, we had been told there were a couple of properties to show, and by the time we found him actually he was with other customers! Went to the branch for reasons, the guy who gave the post code said it was all our fault, shouted and excused. Anyway, won’t recommend and even talk to any of their branches. Rubbish!
