Carlton office provide excellent service

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. Conducted viewings for us. Price was very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Katie and Chloe at the Carlton office handled the whole transaction very professionally. Thank you

DO NOT BUY OR SELL WITH BAIRSTOW EVES SOUTHEND ON SEA. Absolute Mickey Mouse setup where the agents dont even know who to contact to confirm a viewing! And so rude and unprofessional!Happy to explain more but not enough space!! Plenty of good Estate Agents around, I implore you not to use them!!!

David and Marcus were inspirational from there star to the finish. our house was sold through lockdown and then got tricky towards the end. David was so on the ball picking up issues and giving advice to drive the chain forward.In reality all those within the chain did get the properties they aimed for without any break in the chain. To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

My experience with Bairstow Eves in purchasing a house was a positive one. I dealt with Abdul Moqtadir. On arranging a visit to one property, Abdul then offered to show various other properties of equal value chauffeuring me around in his car. It was worthwhile for me and resulted with me purchasing an E6 property. Abdul was excellent in showing what properties were available in my price bracket and no doubt fulfilled and went beyond the call of duty to act for both vendor and buyer. A very difficult line to walk. I should point out that I had spent around FOUR MONTH'S looking around East London for a home using various Estate Agents and not one of them came close to the service that I received from Bairstow Eves courtesy of Abdul Moqtadir. We chose Bairstow Eves because we had moved into our house 16 years ago with them and they were professional, helpful and personable at that time. A lot can change in 16 years so we also checked reviews, which were good. They were a great choice. We can’t speak highly enough of Alan, David and Abdul; they we’re marvellous from start to finish. Professional, down to earth and very pleasant. No issue was a problem. We have an exciteable dog and were at work, so Alan offered to take her out if necessary while Abdul showed people around the house. We were away the weekend the house came on the market so Alan liaised with our cat sitting friend to show people round. Any issue at all was handled with reassuring pragmatism. We pretty much left it all to them. Dealing with our solicitor became a bit of a nightmare and David absorbed all the stress and gave excellent guidance. This resulted in (for us) an unbelievably low stress house sale and we can’t thank Alan, David and Abdul enough for their support. We highly recommend this company.

A viewing with an individual at Blairstow Eves EH when house hunting almost four years ago has been burned into my memory as the single worst viewing I've ever experienced, with one of the rudest people I have ever met. This team member was rude and condescending from the moment we met. He was indignant when I asked to see the garden, begrudgingly agreed that I could, but snapped at me that I almost let a cat in on my return. I was also snapped at for asking to test the tap and told not to touch anything. I tried to make conversation by asking why the owners were selling to which this team member replied 'what does it matter'. I sent an email to relay this to the team at the time via email, to no response.

We recently embarked on a grand adventure of moving into a property through Bairstow Eves, aiming to settle in before Santa squeezed his way down the chimney. Thanks to the superhero trio comprising Jade, Amy, and Joseph, our Christmas miracle came true! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. From start to finish, their service was top-notch, leaving us with nothing but smiles.Now, here's the twist: the only hiccup we encountered was the moving-in gift box they provided. Can you believe it? 0.0% beer! It's like they were trying to test our resolve. Almost had us deducting a star from our rating! But hey, let's not dwell on that minor blip. I instructed Bairstow Eves after another local estate agent let me down on the sale of my flat. They’ve delivered above and beyond what they said they would - I had 4 offers within a week of being on the market. Alan has been excellent throughout, very pragmatic and realistic with great communication. Ritesh has also been a great help. What I’ve noticed is that they all seem to be up to speed with the sale, so no matter who I speak to when I call the office, they can give me the latest. One of the more ‘honest’ estate agents I’ve dealt with.

I don’t have good experience with this agency at all. They don’t respond well. I was interested in one of the property listed by them so I deal with 3 people and each time they have different responses. One says I need pre referencing even before I have viewing thats their criteria . So next day I call them to provide references and next person says the house is not open for viewing and pre reference is not require. When I try to ask further questions they would just hung up like every time. Finally they gave me viewing time but just on the day they cancel it saying owner is not available. So I asked for next viewing they hung up the phone again. Next day I ring them again about viewing and person says owner wants to know more about you so I tell them. They say they will call me back but never. I ring them next day about the property again without my any information not knowing who is calling the agent says the owner is not interested in you and just hung up the phone. The way of dealing is very unprofessional.

I would strongly discourage anyone from…

I would strongly discourage anyone from renting student property through Bairstow Eves based on our experience at 14 Devonshire Promenade this year. During the middle of winter, our house was left without heating for three weeks, which is completely unacceptable, especially in freezing conditions. We were initially told we would receive compensation for this, but that promise was later withdrawn without proper explanation.
